If F1-GAF ends up talking about her and nothing else for the next three weeks you have my word that I will shoot myself.
I normally hate GAF girl crushes, but McKenzie is just so damn capable. Sorry Mush:

Speaking of women am I crazy in hearing there was talk of a new female F1 driver soon?
There was talk of Danica Patrick ages ago as a tester for Honda, and then as potentially a driver for USF1... but those days are long gone.

One thing I have noticed by downloading the BBC HD feeds is that the broadcast quality is so much better than what is supposed to be the same signal on Speed HD. The 720p BBC HD absolutely kills Speed.

The effect of the Indian GP track on the locals

It's not good and they're pissed

As India prepares to host its first Grand Prix later this year, the Formula One authorities are due to inspect the track near Delhi.

The entire landscape around the sports complex is fast changing with a new motorway, luxury housing estates and five-star hotels.

However...

When you watch something like that report, it's hard not to think that the "F1 is just a sport, that country has more to worry about" line that so many F1 people were spouting over Bahrain applies to India, too.

Pretty horrible stuff.

Lee is hotter. The fact she looks "normal" is a big part of the attraction.

Whoever that girl is could be a random porn star.

How in the fuck do you not know who Keeley Hazell is?

Button is the best with homoerotic posts and Stewart with safety tips.
Also Kobayashi with spiritual stuff and Kimi with 3 words at his best :D

HeidiHi Nick Heidfeld
It was crazy guys, this time I felt the heat from the fire and got really scared.

mschumi Michael Schumacher
It looked dramatic alright, especially that little pirouette you did when jumping out of the car.

HeidiHi Nick Heidfeld
I knew my race was over Michael, so I naturally went straight into Nick Heidfeld party mode, even before my feet touched the ground. The marshalls were even dancing with me.

mschumi Michael Schumacher
I think they were jumping out of the way of your exploding side-pod Heidfeld.

bestofbritish Jenson Button
Next time you feel the heat Nicky, don't jump out before this side-pod explodes all over you.

Bernie trying to whore out F1 again by pushing for a street circuit race in New York again.
Bernie Ecclestone's desire to see a second race in the United States could yet be realised after fresh talks emerged about hosting a street race in New Jersey.

AUTOSPORT revealed in July that F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone was seriously considering a second F1 race in New York, having already signed a deal to race at Austin, Texas.

On Tuesday, the Mayors of Weehawken and West New York revealed that they are in the preliminary stages of talks with a group of investors, led by former YES TV Network executive Leo Hindery Jr., to hold a grand prix in the area from as early as 2013.

One proposed venue is to run the race along the banks of the Hudson River, using the waterfront and the iconic Manhattan skyline to create a spectacular backdrop.

Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner and West New York Mayor Felix Roque said in a joint statement that they were investigating the feasibility, and potential economic gains, of hosting an F1 street race in New Jersey.

"In these uncertain economic times when every direct and indirect revenue source is vital, our own Formula One race could be a very positive boost to our citizens," the statement read.

"This said, we need to ensure that the financial benefits from the privilege of having these races in our towns are equitably shared and that no tax dollars are used.

"The investor group has already told us that our towns would be substantially compensated annually."

In recent years there have been several failed attempts to host a race in the US, notably in 2010 when a proposed event at Liberty State Park was soon withdrawn amid public protests.

A street circuit in New Jersey sounds interesting actually, but is it really necessary unless they are going to keep the increased number of races on the calendar

There should be at most five or six races outside of Europe. Australia, Montreal, Suzuka, Brazil. Bam, that's all you need. Throw in one or two more for flavor and fill the rest of the calendar with superior European circuits.

I don't see why most races should be in Europe. It's a World Championship, lets have races all over the world. It's already bad enough that most drivers are European.

Because Europe is where most of the great circuits of the world are located. There are plenty of good ones elsewhere, and several great ones, but most outside of Europe don't compare. As an American F1 fan I have to admit that I don't think there's a single track in my country that's deserving of hosting an F1 event.

Exactly how I feel. We get shit new tracks built every year which are only built for the money and commercial value. Its good for the sport to get more races in other countries but as a fan its bullshit. We get rid of tracks like Turkey to make space for tracks like Korea because of the commercial value.

What kind of track would there be?

Are there even feasible corners that central in a major american city?

Take a glance at PGR3 and PGR4. Both have a wide variety of NYC street circuits that are pretty cool, so yes.
