Omg amazing! Hahaha, no wonder Mark is still on the team. Oh man, Eddie Jordan & Flavio are tame now! This F1 thread is hilarious in between races lately.

How do you mean, because of the hilaire in this thread? It stunned me just how many suggested YT videos appeared that were a variation on "Funny Mark Webber".

The video of him with the fire extinguisher was the funniest though, IMO.

I'm guessing 'Naked Horner Pic' would yield some titillating results. :p

The picture became a meme on the Autosport forums (man I hate that place now) so I just googled 'Christian Horner' and didn't find anything.

The hair style makes it look like it's from a 77 Cosmo mag. Only thing that threw me about that pic was that he mentioned Liz Hurley and Sandra Bullock.

Use to be my source for F1 discussion when it was a pleasant place to converse with people, but now it's just full of over the top childless bickering between extreme fanboys and mostly devoid of any good discussion. This thread's great in that regard, even if though it does get a bit wild sometimes.

Only really during the races and really only limited to blow-ins. The regulars are allll awesomesauce.

"phwoar!"

Brilliant!
So funny. I glimpsed at the pic earlier (was at work and didn't want people being like "wtf?!") I just got home and read it so the reference makes sense now. So, who will be at the nearest scheduled GP? F1-gaf will pitch in to get the picture plotted let's say 1m x 1m and you can hang out across from the Red Bull pits. I can sense a "Tremendous!" from Brundle now upon seeing it.

I feel ashamed I even clicked on that.
I don't feel ashamed, I feel dirty.

The fact that the most popular threads are 'Jenson Vs. Lewis 2011 scorecard' and 'Does Vettel rank up there with Hamilton and Alonso?' just says it all really.

Not to mention the outrageous McLaren bias.

Also, Domenicalli & Whitmarsh are the best team principles. Period.

"A fantastic result as BeanieVet and SexyWebber brave blistering tyres to claim a 1-2 in Spa." is the best news headline ever.

I believe it should be a secret sign/word only traded by the regulars :p

I know there's still sometime for it but I really hope I can attend the Abu Dhabi GP. Tickets are crazy expensive for the good seats though.

Anyone reads sniffpetrol? They/he posts some tasteless jokes on twitter sometimes but some of them are comedy gold and the website is not bad either.

Oh I was just joking and insinuating that Horny Horner was keeping him around just for his stunningly good looks chin. No trolling or whatever!

Can we get in-progress pics? I ask because I want to see/learn the craft. I've built a couple RC cars and Revell (sp?) models. I have a GC STi (that I might model after my own) and an AE86 Tsuchiya-san model unopened that I need to put together soon. Any tips are good tips!

Phil Prew on 2012 development

"There's always a balance to be found between the two cars, but I think as we approach the tail end of this season then emphasis will obviously move towards the 27, but there's still much learning we can have with the 26 with the developments on that car that will translate. So the development plans we have at the moment are looking at components which will give lap time benefit both this year and also carry over to next year; front wings, rear wings for example, they're all directly transferable with the minimal changes in the technical regulations. So we can combine the two and hopefully find benefits for both seasons."

Craig Scarborough seems to think this is a ride height sensor on the Ferrari.

I'm not an expert myself but I can offer some tips. I'll try and post pictures of the engine tonight.

Just saw the Spa edit.

Smedley is really losing his shit over Massa. Including yelling "For Fuck sake Felipe" when he was overtaken by Alonso.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but where do I find these race edits? Is it a YouTube channel or something?

In case you guys didn't know, Grand Prix Story has finally been ported to iPhone! Watch out for my team, BlueCow Racing.

Game is awesome. Big thanks to S. L. for sharing it here, I wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

All the "real world" tracks are cute.

[edit] downloading the "Lite" version now. I forgot how nuclear hot my battery gets when I boot Android, lol.

Wow, those race edits are amazing. Never watched them before.

Also, Grand PRix Story is JUST as addictive as Game Dev Story, good thing I have the day off work.
