Looks like it's been banned now for the rest of the weekend and future races.
They probably freaked because complaints from other teams would flood FIA's mailbox if Ferrari gained time with this 'upgrade'

I'm still slightly confused how Ferrari have been given warning for this race about their rear wing breaking rules, yet Sauber were not at Australia.

RT @InsideFerrari: The 150° Italias are fitted with standard rear wings... team was told solution tested yesterday could be declared illegal

end of drama

That HRT looks damn right awful to drive.
They look like moving chicanes on this race. I will be very surprised if they even get into 107%

Heidfield is on fire

Ferraris wing was an obvious exploit of an loophole, Saubers wing was some minor thing beeing a few millimeters off

But surely components should be tested at the same time? So Sauber were closer to the regs than Ferrari were, yet they get penalised, or shall we say were told their car is illegal, at a more critical point. I just think it's a tad unfair on Sauber.

What the FIA have done with Ferrari is fine - they were told before the race proceedings, they changed the wing, all gravy.

Yeah, I don't like Ferrari very much, but I don't think this is a case of favouritism.

Heidfeld will win tomorrow now, saving all the options from quali, he will pit one round after the start and finish the race on the options :p

RBR one lap pace is from another dimension. Holy hell, 1.3 seconds. Ok, if Lewis managed clear lap like that yesterday, he maybe could get to 0.7, but still RBR is dominating machine

The season needs a lot more than one DNF for Vettel.
He needs something to shake his confidence. Points-wise, one DNF won't make a difference. But it'll throw him.

That's why I'm hoping for one, anyway.
