I believe it stays 50GB for good. I got in with the HP Touchpad promotion.

Also, clarification: since the promo says "give 50GB invites to your co-workers", it appears that it tries to enforce this by making it so I can only send invites to people using the same mail provider, which in this case is GMail. So, if you want an invite, you need to send me a gmail address.

also if you dont have gmail i think i found a way around it

1. i'll change my email on my account to a temporary one like gureilla mail/10min mail
2. anyone who wants an invite can go and get their own temp email, and i'll send invites there
3. after you get it, change the email on your account to a real one and i'll do the same

but seriously everyone should have gmail today, its too damn good
