Thought I was the only one who fucked my desthscythe up.
Turns out, Lacquer thinner is WAY stronger than I imagined.
Learned that lesson the hard way.

Damn that sucks but I am definitely rebuilding my desthscythe and heavy arms when I have money to blowTurns out, Lacquer thinner is WAY stronger than I imagined.

My center section of the wing back pack snapped.Thought I was the only one who fucked my desthscythe up.
I've built the XXXG frame so much that I'm just flying through the kit, the head and chest are already done after like thirthy minutes with a full clean and panel lining.
Well thankfully the Wing MGs are VERY light on Panel line so every things so super fast and with so little inner detail it's almost like HG speeds after the fifth Wing Mg.Woah. I'm so much slower than you ;__;
You probably don't even need the instructions at this point.Well thankfully the Wing MGs are VERY light on Panel line so every things so super fast and with so little inner detail it's almost like HG speeds after the fifth Wing Mg.
That model is a huge piece of shit and I hate it. :/Thought I was the only one who fucked my desthscythe up.
Finished up Gundam X, gonna try and do a decent write-up of my thoughts.
What did those who watch it feel about the Frost Brother's ultimate fate? Does any other source expand on that, or is it just totally ambiguous.
I glance at it but really its pretty token at this point lol.You probably don't even need the instructions at this point.
Started G-Reco, you can tell this is a Tomino show because of the amount of times people get slapped. The pacing of these first two episodes is strange and I'm still trying to get a grasp of the tone and characters, but I'm enjoying it enough so far. This show definitely has a unique style for Gundam. The UC references are more blatant than I thought they would be. How far into the UC timeline is G-Reco supposed to be?
Wow that's a good looking Shenlong, they replaced the beam glaive with the trident? Maybe that'll be my third build. Looking at that makes me wonder if I fucked up the arms on mine.A few pics of the build. Forgive my office, we need to clear it out.

Ill post up close shots tomorrow after the Fang is completed, but this will give a good size look at it and hoe ot scales with an RG and MP Transformer.

Done with my SD Banshee. Took way more time than I expected and I have to say that I prefer making HG/MG models.
I had fun with it last night, I just hope I didn't mess up the arms. I think my next step are the legs. How does one even figure out which hands they're going to use? Still need to panel line a bit I think.Jaded, nice kit you got, hope you're enjoying it.
Yep.Wow that's a good looking Shenlong, they replaced the beam glaive with the trident? Maybe that'll be my third build. Looking at that makes me wonder if I fucked up the arms on mine.
Interesting, I guess the double sided thing is Altron exclusive. I wonder how hard Epyon is to build? It's got a great looking MG.Yep.
The Ver Ka versions for Wufei all have Tridents (though Shenlong is one sided) including Epyon White.

It's an amazing MG, and in my opinion the single best one to come out of the EW it's not the easiest though and because of things like the heat rod it is the one you have to put the most work into.Interesting, I guess the double sided thing is Altron exclusive. So pretty much that should be done when I'm better with MG's. I think HG Revive Mk II will be the last HG I do minus the odd Zeta sets that are only available in HG. Granted I might want to get better at not having wear marks on my pieces first. It's an amazing MG, and in my opinion the single best one to come out of the EW it's not the easiest though and because of things like the heat rod it is the one you have to put the most work into.
Still though, top 5 MGs of all time to me.
Indeed.Epyon is generally regarded as a good MG, but it's infamous for being loaded with tons of awful, awful nubs. It's not something I recommend to a newbie builder unless you're comfortable with all those marks on the kit.
Beth your auto correct does not like you at all.Indeed.
The body isnt to bad, but the Wings, and accessories are HORTID as far as nubs go.

This game is one of my guilty pleasures, I played the shit out of it as a kid.off topic for a sec: i just picked this up it says newly animated scenes from the tv series: is that true?
This game is one of my guilty pleasures, I played the shit out of it as a kid.
It just has vignettes that were redone, not really scenes.
Bear in mind that 3rd person shooters/action games have come a long way since 2000.
It's the only Gundam action game I felt that succeeded though. But that says more for the studios who have made Gundam games rather than JtJ. Definitely post your impressions.

I mean the instructions kind of made it seem like it doesn't matter how you do it, until you pay closer attention and notice that your Gundam has fucking Praying Mantis arms. That is why I always suggest starting off with cheap kits. Can you imagine buying. 40 dollar kit and breaking a piece ^,_^ tears
Lol you can do itI mean the instructions kind of made it seem like it doesn't matter how you do it, until you pay closer attention and notice that your Gundam has fucking Praying Mantis arms.
Hopefully I can find time for an ankle or something tomorrow. Arms are actually done now, just have to put the hands in at some point.Lol you can do it
