Where the heck do you guys get the stickers for these damn things? So far on the Wing, I finished most of the torso, some of that jet pack thing and shoulders. Is it safe to say the hardest one is the first one? This one is probably a good trainer one for MG's I would assume or do MG's just have a fuck ton of pieces. I'd probably be done with the head, but I'll probably just build that close to last.

It's an almost stress-free build with a final result I have almost no issues with. Things I don't like:

1) The Buster Rifle has a couple, bad nubs on the bottom side. In a straight build these are generally visible only in Bird Mode though.
2) Two loose pieces. The v-fin (a little) and one of the chest vents (allot). A dab of glue on each has permanently fixed the problem.
3) The green, crescent-shaped sticker for the shield is a pain to apply. That's the only tough sticker though. On a High Grade. I'm not complaining.

There are also a couple color inaccuracies like the teeny head vulcans, the chest vulcans, and the inner sections on the red feathers that should be white but I personally don't care about those and the kit nails everything else. Perfect balance, great poseability, does all the Wing gimmicks. Have fun with it.

I have no patience. I don't really like 00 Raiser. Which Wing Zero is the RG? That a Ver Ka? It actually looks pretty good. Though I think I like the MG's better.

And I still get good kit diversity. RG's are just straight up lead suits...jesus that kills me. I could theoretically get the RG's for Zeta and Mk2, but I heard the RG Zeta is a fucking nightmare. Why is there no RG for anything CCA? Why are there two RG Z'Gokk's? At least there's an MG Gelgoog. I can't believe this is based on fan demand.

Thanks! I wouldn't say it's a straight build actually, I panel lined it hahah. Still, the DX looks great. I put the decals on it and it looks even better now.

Currently building Gundam Crossbone Full Cloth, but it's taking a very long time. Loving the aesthetics of this one, it's pretty awesome.

Why does Athrun get one shitty RG? The Astray Red Frame is actually pretty cool looking. looks like that samurai suit from Build Fighters.

Lol, I'd have to Mk2 Titans, I just love that color scheme for some odd reason. AEUG might be Emma's suit to me, but I just love the Titans scheme.

haven't built justice yet but that's a first, i've been hearing nothing but positive things about rg justice. i guess maybe not everyone is raving about it.

Maybe it's just mine, but I can't pose it at all without parts falling off of it.

I don't think it was a problem with the build but who knows.

Yeah there's some pretty drastic differences with the rg Justice. a lot of people say theirs like mine are great, but a lot of other people say that theirs are unstable and have issues. It seems like a luck thing.

Don't build a Real Grade until you've tried a Master Grade or two or you'll want to cry.

shoot! thanks for the heads up. that's good to know.
for crappy/loose joints, i learned this trick from the modelers on MW, you can coat the joints using clear nail polish, future (pledge) clear floor polish or super glue over a loose joint. let it dry, add another layer. (don't let the parts touch each other while coating)
as Macross bandai ball joints get loose over time, especially in the ankles. making it extremely hard to pose with the legs drooping and ankles not able to keep a pose.

i'll send a link when i find it but i know it works for RG;s too to make it good as new or in your case, good for the first time.

i guess the friction is not consistent between copies of the same kit.

Holy shit there's nothing more annoying than dropping a piece. All HG's are not created equal though, this is a lot more evolved than the HG Revive. I just finished the arms and attaching them, will put the hands on later. I'm at the leg step now, but I'm done these things are complicated.

I'm not sure that the prices I see are insane (except one on Amazon that's $231) I'm just not willing to pay $90ish (the price I currently see it at) for a real grade. I also don't look very hard.

I think the idea is to keep its identity as a 'gundam' secret.

As if the only identifier of a Gundam is the face vents.

I adore the Astraea Type F and that Metal Build would be really tempting if I had cash for a metal build.

The lowest I've ever seen it was $80 so that or lower I guess, but you really don't have to look. I'm a broke college student so I probably wouldn't get it at any price.

Yeah that's pretty silly about the mask, especially since the Astraea is clearly just a bether Exia. How anyone would have been fooled is beyond me.

Im glad Im not the only one who likes the Type F. I would love the metal build it's so good looking.

Heh, no problem. Though I'm surprised you think Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter are bad designs. I love those two, Shin especially feels like such an improvement over Getter 1. Getter one was my least favorite combined form while Shin was my favorite. Of course, the real MVP is Getter Dragon.

Man Bandai must have really over estimated the popularity of the Exia Seven Sword MG. That thing is everywhere here in Kagoshima. Shelves lined to the top with it lol.

The overall plot is ok to follow, but from what I can remember you can't tell how much time has passed between events, and people's mood swings are fucking crazy. The character motivations too; granted I'm only watching while I'm running on a treadmill, but I kept asking "wtf, why is he/she doing this?"

Any solutions for stickers that aren't staying on? I was putting on some decals on my MG RX-78-2. I noticed that one of the stickers keeps peeling up slightly at the end. It isn't super glaring, but would like to fix it if I can. Also, the shiny gold stickers that go over some of the inner frame around the elbows are really fragile. I had a hard time getting them to stick and they have even deteriorated some.

Well Kaiser it comes down to how hard it over compensated to give Koji back lead role.

Remove Grendizer from series canon?
Take Great Mazinger and make it weaker?
Give Kaiser the Great'state enemies?
Remove character development?
Way over design so it looks more like a adopted Child then Grendizer?

It's offensive if you care about anyone then young and immature Koji, who was better and more grown up in Grendizer and Great Mazinger.

Shin Getter I'm just bitter because they upgraded the lame ass Getter 1 and ignore the majestic Dragon and now always use it as the whipping girl.

I didn't watch much Mazinger and knew nothing of Great Mazinger so it didn't matter to me much. I did watch a lot of Grendizer though and was surprised when it turned out that the guy with the lame ship used to pilot a giant robot. Though yeah it's strange that they removed it from canon, though I feel that Grendizer didn't really mesh well with the world of Mazinger.
