The Gundam |OT2| Another 5 years of Gunpla, Origins, and GUNDAMUUUU!

any more gunpla you doing?
HG Wing Gundam is still just a torso with no wings, lol. It's a time and energy thing. I love doing the upper body, but once I hit the legs part in the guide I'm like, "eehhh maybe later" those take energy I swear, so many damn pieces. Combining the fact that I'm a rather active photographer which leads to editing pictures, I don't always have that time.
Keep fighting that good fight, fam.

I wish I could get a refund on my ticket, that's how much I didn't care for the movie.
Snyder had the golden goose, then he preceded to hack off its head, cooked it, burned it, tried to scrape off the burned pieces and then served that shit up. I'll defend many things, but not that movie.

Caught this in the PV:

Those markings look familiar?

Calling it now, HGUC Banshee re-release with those markings (and hopefully they'll include all the Armed Armor stuff together so you can build the regular or the Norn).

How would that even work considering
Char was in an escape pod being held by Amuro?

I already explained it earlier.

The real Char never really died in the bombing Casval planned out and was held in stasis and rehabilitation support for years by members of a Zeon faction. He was secretly primed and trained to be ready and his perfect chances was when the real Char basically died and they used his Psychoframe to transfer his persona into the real Char who took the name Full Frontal.

You can tell by how his mannerisms is not 1:1 Char and there is something slightly off about Full Frontal.

It doesn't matter now cause both Char and Casval are now dead and its not like they can make Angelo Char 3.0. Well they could make Angelo Garma 2.0 if they want to.

Just wait for the TV Anime.

Angelo is the Garma that desires his Senpai's notice.

I think Char was never Casval too. The guy that looks like him in Origin episode 2 was Char and Casval was hidden!

Gundamgaf, I present you with the following excerpts from conversations had with my middle-age mother while we watched Turn A Gundam together.

"Why are they naked?"

"WHY ARE THEY PUTTING LEECHS ON EACHOTHER"

(Uproarious laughter at crossdressing)

"They're carrying the cow with the robot?(laughter)"

"This girl is so snotty."

"He hurt his parts again, awwww. :("

We just finished episode 25. Wish me luck.

Macross Delta will be better than Gundam Orphans. You hear it here first.

yep I am back to posting on the regular. Finished DD season 2, Haikyuu, and about to finish IBO.

Also I preordered the Freedom 2.0. I finally warmed up to the design plus May is my birthday month so why not. Not a fan of the effect parts but I might cave.

I'll be honest.... I have no clue how to watch Thunderbolt. I checked the usual places, such as Daisuki and Crunchyroll and nothing. Hell, I even checked some torrent sites (off the record) and I can't find it.

Suggestions?

Source Shun? Given proximity to April Fools, I'm guessing that at every turn. Bottom picture especially looks awful, but then again the character designs in Crossbones are all terrible to begin with.

The thing about Shun's posts is he can't come out and directly tell us what's happening, so he drops hints in the form of misinformation. The animal forms were telling us Kimaris was going to get a Centaur mode and the Graze Gatai was a hint at the Graze Ein.

You have to learn how to read between the posts.

I'm almost to the end of my ZZ rewatch. Just watched episodes 45.

Haters be damned, this show is a classic.

I think people are too hard on the first 16 episodes. Yes, there is a pretty big tonal shift from the climax of Zeta, but I don't think that's a bad thing. In fact, I think it works in the show's favor as it helps to give this show it's own identity. Plus, it goes a long way in establishing the new cast.

I love this show's cast. People give characters like Mondo and Beecha crap, but I just don't see what the big deal is. They're both pretty fun to watch.

The mecha designs are all pretty great, though to be honest UC designs are for the part pretty awesome (Victory, as much as I love it, not withstanding).

Is first and Zeta better? Yes. But this should stand beside those shows with pride.

Mashymre is a beast. I liked that dude way more this time. Gotn was my favorite my first watchthrough and he's still pretty swell. Rakan is pretty neat too.
Actually most of the Neo Zeon cast is pretty rad.

The reactions to Mashymre's death though.... Probably one of my favorite moments in the franchise.

Illia's comment was the best. "All of that spirit when he when he went out... Was it just for show?"

Great stuff. No one writes fucked up dialogue like Tomino. Almost as good as "I didn't even get to do anything..." from Be Invoked

prob the second watch through it's more valued than the first knowing the progression of the series entirely. but the first time through navigating is a bit tough. as a viewer is left to wonder if the rest of the show will be like this with no end in sight...
i liked ZZ that'll i watch it again someday.

IBO is looking to having those reaction currently. but we won't know till it's over if it'll get better.

More promotional images of the Freedom 2.0 are up at the usual stops.

I've never been so torn on a kit before. I love the Freedom and some of the changes made to it feel like a natural evolution to the design that sit right with me. But the ones that aren't look so bad - You don't mess with a Gundam's v-fin that much, and the rifle.. blek. But it looks so cool and a blast to build from all the mechanisms Bandai's showing off. It's clear allot of time and effort was put into this. Once my eyes focus in on it and notice the blemishes though... grahgh!

Edit: Real talk, first thing I'm gonna try is transplanting my 1.0 v-fin. The rifle's a lost cause without allot of work beyond my level but maybe I can save at least that.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE 0096 1
CfErIQBWEAE_NfD.jpg
CfErIaiWwAApxXk.jpg

I think I can easily like this one fast, unlike a few other gundams we actually start off we actually pleasing suits that I would want to pilot, Wings + Beam Sword + Funnels, what more can anyone want in a gundam. Im glad the pilot is actually pretty skilled too as all suits faced were destroyed.

Banagher is a above average lead, I hope he will actually smile once he finds his determination.

Sawano's nzk project continues to give anime good music and the two songs here are fantastic especially in their use of english, hard to decide which is better but I do want both come June.

Ending of the episode felt abrupt, I mean, he just held his hand out and ED played...

That OP looks like little more than some scenes from the show and character stills that could've been yanked out of an art book. Given how cheap it is, I'll be surprised if there's any significant new footage in this TV cut at all.

DIdn't they actually say there is no new footage in this? I thought they said the only new stuff was the OP/ED and Ikeda's 'Next on' voiceovers.

Some shots appear to be edited to include some new marking seals on the mechs (If the images I've seen are correct). I expect nothing more than that. Unicorn was expensive enough to make. They aren't going to add more expensive animation to a budget cash-in reedit.
