Most of the stuff the OP/EP gives away is shit you wouldn't know were spoilers unless you've already seen the show (Which, as mentioned, 99% of the people watching this thing have anyway). Hell. They've already released Laplace's Box as a pencil holder merchandise. Spoilers aren't really a thing at this point.

We don't know for sure that there won't be new scenes yet. There could be, there might not be, we don't know. Hell, Break Blade didn't have any major new scenes until episode 10, where they expanded on the battle that was at the end of the 5th movie

I heard it was that Sunrise's other show in the same timeslot got cancelled, so they needed something quick and easy to replace it. Hence, chop up an OVA, give it a new OP/ED with a few new scenes, and it just works.

Think I'll watch Re:0096, but I really don't like the ED (mainly because I was spoiled by Aimer's original version). Really, everything on UnChild was fantastic, so I'm glad they're reusing some of it, just wish it was Aimer singing instead. Oh, and showing Loni/Shamblo getting wrecked, low blow Sunrise. :p

Oh, and my Sahelanthropus came the other day (not my pic, but the box is so shiny). Thought the front office was April Foolsing me telling me I had a package in since I ordered the shipping from HLJ just 3 days earlier. Japan Post doesn't fuck around, apparently.

I really need to catch the TV version of Break Blade, I've heard about new footage and need that hype.

As I recall, from the moment Break Blade TV was announced, they made it very clear what they were adding to it, and which episodes would have the extra footage and what it would be. So it's hardly a case of "we won't know until it happens" right? With Unicorn they've also been very clear when they announced it that they're doing new animation for the opening sequence in particular. There's no indication at all that they'll be doing new animation for the show. The team is currently finishing up Thunderbolt, so we'll see what the studio's next project is.

You're damn right it is. High Five! Destiny gets way too much hate because of Shun. It's not its fault it's piloted by a shitheel. Don't take your Shun hate on that amazing machine.

Destiny is absolutely one of my Top 10 favorite MS designs.

Well, it's not the suit's fault that its rival is a stupid, broken, OP mess of a Mobile Suit. Strike Freedom is just a big dumb win button piloted by a walking plot device.

Well, Shun is a bad pilot. We know that.

Destiny has the Voiture Lumiere system, a beam sword that can cut apart battle ships, and a giant ass beam canon. If Shun wasn't such an idiot, there really should be zero excuse for it losing to the IJ.

I read that out of context and thought we were hating on Shun...

Destiny Gundam has cool aspects (for that universe) but yeah, it goes to waste.

The only thing I might give Shun is that Destiny's weapons are more made for anti-fortress and battleships battles than suit to suit combat. Against a super fast and small MS, that big slow cannon probably isn't going to do much. The boomerangs and Palma Fiocina are really its only pure MS/MS weapons.

That being said, with Voiture Lumiere creating mirages as well as super high speed movement and the Arondight sword, Destiny really shouldn't be losing to the kind of basic IJ.

Who the hell you calling a bad pilot. If I was to pilot anything it would be god tier mobile suit like

G Self, Akatsuki, Hyaku Shiki, Kshatriya, Full Armor Unicorn, or Kampfer.

Metal Build Destiny version is okay after that I don't want a regular Destiny anymore only metal build.

Finished my first MG kit last night. I loved building this kit. The amount of detail is great and while building it I felt like I was building an actual mech. I only messed up on a couple of places, but I think it turned out pretty good. The shield and the skirt are pretty flimsy, but for the most part it is solid. The LED eyes is cool, but are way too much of a pain for me to want to do them again.

The HG Gundam on the right is the first kit I ever built 15 years ago. It is crazy seeing the difference.

Is this just a rerun of the preview Ep1 from earlier this year, or is this Ep2?


Also, picked up HGUC Asshimar and Gaplant. Gave up a while back on getting MGs of the obscure Z suits, and just finished Asshimar. Really fun, nice little transforming kit. Should have got it a long time ago.

How are the HGUC's of the obscure Zeta suits? I want MG's of those since some of those are my favorite ones. Any pics?
