I really want the Freedom 2.0 kit, but I really need to finish my Ball Ver Ka and Gouf Custom first.
Speaking of the Ball Ver Ka. Do you all panel line black pieces? The inner frame of the Ball is highly detailed, but the plastic is black. I typically panel line dark grey pieces, but I'm not sure it is worth doing it for pure black. I was considering using a grey color to make the lines pop a little, but not too much. I'm afraid it will look awkward.

I've mostly been fine with Shinn's shitty behavior so far, because at least it's internally consistent with his bratty and egocentric character, and the dumbass decisions he makes actually have significant repercussions. Although I do think I'm a bit biased and cutting him way too much slack solely because he and the Minerva are pitted against the Archangel.
Man, I fucking hate the Archangel and everyone involved in it so far. Especially Cagalli.

0083 does the same crap with Nina, like how can Nina not recognize Gato in episode 1, she can hear GATO say his freaking name and his ideals over the radio then magically she has a long history with him.

I honestly think Athrun is the best protag overall for Seed, my only problem was with how they dumbed him down a bit in Destiny and made him relearn the same shit he learned in Seed. At the very least he didn't turn into Sarah Zabiarov and start addressing Durandal as Mr. Durandal sama. Athrun wasn't falling for scout master Durandal's bullshit. He wanted to believe in his shit, but eventually he just saw too damn much. I'm having extreme difficulty picturing Lacus in an actual ship with anybody. Meer Campbell? Yes...fuck yes actually but not Lacus.
Athrun could have been an amazing lead if they had focused on him from the word go in Destiny.
See as far as Meer id put her with Flay for Maximum cray cray.

Best part of Seed and Destiny at least to me are Athrun and Kira's bro moments. I'm perfectly fine with how everything escalated between those two before they realized that they shouldn't be fighting each other, after that as far as I'm concerned it's Athrun's show. It's not like Kira was fighting his friends to keep Kira alive in the beginning, I think Kira actually would've either been killed or captured if Athrun didn't step in and defy orders. Meer with Flay...god damn. You really just want to see the world burn with crazy as fuck lesbian lust don't you?

The Durandal stuff on the whole is muddier, and that particular part isn't something to hold against Shinn. Athrun attacked ZAFT soldiers, stole military hardware, and went AWOL. Chasing him down is just following orders. Shooting him down when he refuses to surrender and fights back is perfectly justifiable.
The fucked up part is Rey's insistence on attacking after Athrun after requesting Meyrin be let out. No way that's in line with ZAFT military law or basic humanitarianism but then again Durandal's merry men could do just about anything at that point and get off without a slap on the wrist.
This is pretty clear from the fight too. Kira's consistently distracted by the attacks on the Archangel and is trying to get away to defend it. It really was a well-planned scenario though. Shinn may be a total bitch, but he knows how to plan (after getting help from Rey because he couldn't do it himself).
As a side note, CE pilot power levels have always been kinda BS and just a means to whatever end the writer wants at the time. Athrun's the standout example. He's a threat in any machine he hops into except the Saviour, a next generation, high performance machine that he does nothing with. His first combat action in it (with the Minerva anyway; I'm discounting that time he ran away from a pair of Murasames since he clearly didn't want to engage them) is to transform and run away from Sting, a druggie who'd already been jobbing pretty hard at that point and after all the Athrun hype from earlier on from just Seed Destiny. The reasoning for this (as far as I can tell): Just to give Shinn the spotlight, shooting down Windams like target practice. Wait... I can swear I've said this part before. I won't repeat myself.
I think Kira/Athrun moments are far stronger then any of the Gundam Teams which is one thing SEED/Destiny nailed.
G, Wing, X, and OO all failed to create a relationship that was dynamic and stayed interesting on a pure character level even when Mecha is involved.
Really my two biggest complaints with their friendship is a good chunk of it regressed with Athrun in Destiny instead of building up from the rock solid foundation that SEED had laid and their love interest couldn't keep up with their dynamic.
Weirdly I think the only relationship to really match Athrun/Kira (aside from Amuro/Char) is actually Woolf/Asamu in AGE. Different in that it's Mentor/Student but still good for what time they where given.
Also if you think my Insane Lesbian thing is nuts you would be blasted with how crazy I am for a few of my Yaoi ships

I guess my main problem with Shinn is that he follows the wrong orders. Anything logical early on he went against and then when he's tasked with killing people that actually tried to be friends with it he's perfectly fine with them and doesn't question them at all, which is a far cry with how he usually responded to orders aimed at him.

I love for as bullshit as Frozen was they all but made this a Canon ship with Wufei looking out and working for Treize's little bro like Heero does Relena in EW.

Exactly. Wufei fought for Trieze's assumed daughter in EW and then goes on to fight for his little brother in FT. Wufei loves his Treize senpai.

Durandal is really, really, really, fucking convincing in that speech. Arthun totally doesn't want to rejoin Zaft or do any of that but he gets caught in the moment after getting dumped by Cagali.
In fact Durandal is just damn good at his job in general. He makes two mistakes, albeit giant ones, that ruins an otherwise flawless plan.

That's never coming, I feel. Maybe (and that's a big maybe) you'll get a RE of it, though. Problem is that it's just so big. Even the HG is almost as large as the PG RX-78.

Eww.A new animal form was found and teased in the MG Freedom 2.0 to showcase Cosmic Era technology and the upcoming advent of DRAGOONs.
Bandai really is pushing their animal motifs as of lately.
It's like a horrid transformed Epyon.
That said they have been giving them a strong push I agree.
One Leo was made as a model.
It was a Limited release of a 1/144 Leo Custom. Expensive and nor worth it.
There was a resin 1/100 released by Brian Club but not poseable.
Leo however was teased as a potential RE 1/100 but we haven't heard from it sense.
This is pretty much it.
Yeah, I know dead Marida was able to warn everyone about the Colony Laser, but he ended up killing an ally because fuck you dad and he got rejected by his bowl cut crush for being an absolute fucking creeper.

They were at least thinking about doing a RE/100 and gauged interest on it. We'll see if anything comes of it.
Leo will likely see release at some point.
They brought it to RD and even reprinted it a few times.
Wing designs sale well overall and Leo seems to move units.
