The Gundam |OT2| Another 5 years of Gunpla, Origins, and GUNDAMUUUU!

i was thinking of getting some more gunpla soon. HGUC stuff.

Has anyone gotten the Zaku II production type? From pictures, I noticed there's no vernier thrusters in the backpack.

Also has anyone painted gunpla?

Am I the only one in Gundam Gaf gunna buy Full Armor Ver Ka and not equip her?

Aside from Alex it's easily my favorite RX design and the muted color scheme looks great on the thinner more angular armor.

Ibo is already airing on toonami?

Premiers this week. A great move by both Sunrise and Toonami. Toonami gets IBO while it's still hyped, Sunrise gives Gundam a shot on Western TV once again and Season 1 will end on Toonami not too long before Season 2 premiers this fall.

So what exactly are the revive series? Just older series kits being remade with current molding and details?

Also been looking at the more odd Zeon suits, Acguy, Gelgoog, Char's Z'Gok and my personal favorite the Hy-Gogg. Might grab one of them, most likely the Z'gok just because its a RG.

It's a line of new HGs for old suits so they can be made with up to date engineering. It also uses a universal joint system that makes kit bashing a ton easier.

wow, that is quick, i can't fathom going that fast on a RG

Normally that would be the case, but this was a surprisingly simple (but detailed) RG kit. Took me four nights in total. There are no weapons or accessories either. I think what helps make it simple is that the body piece basically on large shell attached to a torso. There's essentially no head to build separately, there is no traditional Gundam backpack, no shoulders to attach to a chest piece, etc.

There are still really nice relatively complex layering in the body framework to make it nice and detailed, but the actual assembly felt really hassle free. I love the articulation on it, and it's a very steady and tight kit in general. Those Zeon engineers sure know what they're doing. :)

Been building this motherfucking since the weekend:

Didn't post anything here because you're all a bunch of BULLIES! But enjoy the progress shots now that I'm done!

Good job!

Sigh, fine. I will play the role of the bully.

Nub marks, need sanding, some cuts too deep.
Seam lines need some work.
Lack of panel lining and detailing.
Lack of markings and decals.
Claws should be sharpened via sanding.
Too glossy of a finish.
No eyes, you probably lost it.
No back shot you probably messed up the back.
Torpedoes on the back aren't painted to look like breasts.
No Zgok Repair 2 Custom
Not a cool looking pose.

GundamGAF please help me decide how I should deal with my insecurity and low self-esteem!

Option A: Denial

Option B: Oppression

Option C: Acceptance

Remember any unnecessary action will result in no more leaks from my trusty sources at Sunrise and Bandai Namco.

I was giving improvement advice by channeling the spirit of Meijin Kawaguchi! Gunpla Builders Champion advice!

Anyone play the PSP Gundam titles?
I like the ArtDink games. Assault Survive is the newest but introduces a new grindy unlock mechanic, and some of the missions for the older series are watered down such that later series have missions. So I have mostly played the previous one, Battle Universe.

They do a pretty good job of representing each series, with a wide variety of playable suits and land/space/underwater combat. The controls and overall feel aren't as good as the recent Vs entries but they make up for that in sheer content. All of them are on the PSN store and should be vita compatible. They made great Macross games too but they aren't on the store for some silly reason.

I also have the older PSP vs game and Gihrens Greed that I picked up on sale a while back, but haven't played enough of either to really comment.

Bandai Namco's second collaboration with the Tenga company, utilizing their Tenga Cup and Tenga Egg line of products in custom Gunpla building!

What do you even name something like this

RX-69
Dick-Dom
Neo Zedong
Nu(de) Gundam
Z'Cock

I'm glad you asked.

The first in the series was modeled after the Hyaku Shiki, from Zeta Gundam, dubbed the Hyaku Nuki (百ヌキ).

The second series is modeled after the Dra-C from 0083, Stardust Memory, dubbed the On a-C (オナッツェ)

Both references to the terms, Saki Nuki (coming early), and Onahole, a special line of products by Tenga for male and female sexual health.

Here are the two together

And an inside look at the making of the Hyaku Nuki's Mega Launcher.

We at Bandai Namco believe that your quality of life and health are of the utmost importance, so our collaboration with the Tenga company is in hopes that you adults take care of yourselves.

Please look forward to any future collaborations that we at Bandai Namco plan in the future.

It's better than I imagined. I'm speechless.

Gave in, bought and am building the RG Wing EW. Also remembered I never decaled my RG Wing Zero and am now doing that as well. Maybe I'm insane, but dammit I love the Katoki Wing line so much. It's just the right amount of Super Robot for me. Hopefully the other suits get RGs as well. Gotta use that inner frame sometime.

I also never realized the Wing EW is exactly the same as the Wing Zero EW aside from the vambraces, the wings and the weapons. I know most of the others are simply recolors with new weapons as well, but for some reason I thought the Wing EW had bigger differences. I guess becasue the colors make a massive difference in that suit? I kinda like that design aesthetic.

On another note, the Proto-Zero doesn't share that same body, which kinda then makes less sense from an engineering progression standpoint.

I don't particularly care for the bazooka but if you reaaaaly have to have it there is a non-p-bandai option

http://hlj.com/product/BAN989509

I suspect that that one won't be able to be underslung the beam rifle, which is like 2/3rds of why the Sinanju Bazzoka is cool.

But, Sinanju has so many weapon options, I kinda don't care. Why use a bazooka when you have the awesome beam axes and the basic rifle is arguably cooler as well.

Yeah Proto Zero would be hard pressed to use that frame given the armor size and the transformation is more intense then Wing EW.

I wish they would have kept Wing EW as its original version with the smoother and less detailed self to make it more different. However the color scheme, wings, and armaments really do a number to make it feel much more unique then it really is.

Also it seems Glory is making them be greater in difference with the new head transformation gimmick on Zero EW.
