Definitely has a blue sheet
Now I want some hamburgers. :3War in the Pocket... man. Probably my first solid 10/10 Gundam. It did stuff in 6 episodes that many of the shows fail to do in 50+. First Gundam to make me tear up, too.
Bernie...
Oh my thats pretty good. I would like to get a F91 kit at some point, I'll need to see how much it is when it goes up.
Stardust is visually fun if nothing else. I like it enough, but I don't think I have a favorite character from it though. Men of Destiny is a good OP though. Minus a couple of things 08 MS Team is great, should git gud by ep 5.Okay done with Stardust Memory. Honestly felt like more style than substance. Great designs and animation but the story didn't really go... anywhere. It just retreaded territory we've visited over and over again before. I guess it ties 0079 together with Zeta nicely if nothing else.
Started on 08th MS Team, only one episode in though.

Just finished The 8th MS Team and enjoyed it. Too bad current animation isn't as good. Guess I'll try to continue ZZ (had to stop after 8 episodes of shenanigans).
Stardust Memory works best as a interlude between 0079 and Zeta to understand the Titans and the underlying conflict that will take place.
G Reco has like the best Gundam Animation in years. It is certainly the prettiest with the best animated scenes in a long time for a Gundam anime.
I agree but 0083 was released 6 years after Zeta so most people didn't watch it like that and it wasn't made with that in mind exactly. It retreads a lot of ground from Zeta and ZZ (Another Colony Drop, really?) but it was pretty solid overall.Stardust Memory works best as a interlude between 0079 and Zeta to understand the Titans and the underlying conflict that will take place.
The colony drop is pretty much a Gundam staple at this point. If it ain't a colony drop is a massive laser weapon or a psycho crusher built into a space station.I agree but 0083 was released 6 years after Zeta so most people didn't watch it like that and it wasn't made with that in mind exactly. I think it might be jarring going from that to Zeta though.
I love Magic and it's stuck in my head now.
But you can't do UC without dem 80's cuts.I love 0083. Culturally it is the most true to life in terms of military culture. I love the attention to detail, characters have name tapes, warfare devices, you see ECPs. The only thing that will always bug me is hair cuts.
Sharing what a bro of mine posted in a different thread.

So something that was always bugging me about Seed is how did the normal humans develop more advanced mobile suits than the not-newtypes?
This is the right order. So I tend to watch a lot of anime with my father and he finally decided he really wanted to try and finally watch UC era Gundan from beginning to end. We're going chronologically, so we started with Gundam The Origin and he's enjoying things so far.
Now, while I've seen nearly all of the UC (I think the only two I haven't completed are thunderbolt and Origin 3) I'm not entirely sure on chronological timeline order for a couple, so any corrections would be appreciated
Gundam The Origin 1
Origin 2
Origin 3
Gundam Movie 1-3 (watching the movies rather than series)
(This is where it gets tricky)
Gundam 8th MS Team
Gundam 0080
Gundam Thunderbolt
Gundam 0083
Zeta Gundam
Double Zeta
Char's Counterattack
Gundam Unicorn
And I imagine we'll pretty much stop there since F91 and Victory are mostly their own things and whenever Origin 4 hits we'll jump back to that, but for the 0079-0080 OVAs if anyone knows their timeline order for sure it'd be a big help.

Just a heads up, the last part of the Char OVA comes out next month.
Good order, but you are doing yourself a disservice not watching F91 and V.
Isn't it mid-november? I could've sworn I read it was around like November 18th (Which is right up against my Dad's B-day amazingly enough.) Either way thanks for the heads up, but with how fast we tend to move it'll probably be best to just throw it in whenever it's finally out, rather than try and find a few shows to squeeze in between now and November.
I actually also just got back into Gundam Models too. My mother went to Japan on a business trip and nabbed me up the Gundam The Origin RX-78. Ended up redecaling all my old models from my teen years with third party decals, lining them, Top Coating them, and now I'm building a whole new set.
Built a Shin Matsunaga White Zaku, Wife bought me a Guncannon for my B-day and now I'm putting together the Gundam Unit Fb01 from 0083. I'd upload photos but it's not like I went into any serious work that I think they'd be all that interesting to look at.
