The Gundam |OT2| Another 5 years of Gunpla, Origins, and GUNDAMUUUU!

I wonder if any of the FT suits are going to get gunpla? Does that really need Katoki to do line art or something? Only one I like is Epyon White, just tell to fool to do line art for Epyon White.
Epyon White was already shown in W Converge.

Epyon W, Snow White, and Warlock are the only three that will ever have a shot and I ghly doubt it for Lock.

Epyon and Snow as P Bandai maybe after Zero EW 2.0.

So pretty much they'll sell 30 of Epyon White and Snow White and sell them for $600?

LOL most likely yeah.

It depends though if SRW or something uses Snow White it could easily gain more traction, people loved the idea of an upgraded new suit for Heero, Bandai and Sumizawa totally squandered it though.

I want to upgrade from HG kits to MG kits. Will I need to get some more hobby supplies? HG kits only really need side cutters, a hobby knife and some panel lining markers to look good.

I suppose I would also consider going to RG kits, but the options are very limited.

FT is just a novella after all, it will get some expensive P-Bandai kits maybe.

Exactly.

More then that while the novella started off selling very well it tampered out so it's not like Unicorn that was destined for Gunpla.

Yeah, only massive hits like Unicorn and Sentinel get kits. Even really popular ones like Hathaway and Gaia Gear don't see anything

Maybe some sand paper or a file. You don't need them, but a lot of people use them to get rid of nubs. Other than that what you have is probably fine.

ZZ Gundam Episode 37

Wait a minute,
Reina is alive and with someone who looks like Saylah? What the hell is going on here? You're just going to show that scene and not make a big deal about it?

There isn't that much of a gulf in general process for making them. Whatever you have for your HG's will work fine for a MG. They are just more parts and better quality.

Not sure if these were posted, but these are the event at the moment in 7/11's here in Japan.

That Angel Halo stuff is fucked up, that's one hell of a weapon. Katejina and Fuala are crazy btw.

Also V2 Buster! We getting there! I need the AB!

Anyone getting gundam Black Friday?

My comic shop had 30% off gundam and figures. I think I bought like 11 kits and some figures. I have no idea where i will find time to built the stuff but the price was to good to pass up.

Also Im 4 episodes in to built fighters. Its pretty funny. The comedy and in jokes are much better then the battle part of the show which is uninteresting since its just toys battling.

ZZ Gundam 1-END

Good show. I think the beginning is soft and the end is even softer, but the middle is great. Even when it tries to be like Zeta near the end it still can't drop the comedy, but that's okay because its best when it's about 60% comedy, 40% deadly serious one ship war against space Nazis/the absolutely useless world government.

Judau is so good. One of my favorite voice actors of all time. He's always up for anything. He's a bit of a goof. Not a great pilot but pretty much the only super powerful newtype to not go crazy during a war.

I am trying to choose a couple MG kits to pick up for a friend and I to build over the holidays when I am back home. They'll be our first MG kits. So many beautiful looking kits, any recommendations?

Ball is love, ball is life.

Just pick a suit you like, do a little bit of research, and you're probably going to be okay.
You can't really go wrong with the 2.0 or Origin RX-78-2, or even the Ver. Ka.

I got some no grade Iron Blooded Orphan 1/100 kits. Not on sale, but an early Christmas gift to myself. I think the Barbatos First form will be my first kit I try painting and modding a bit. Gonna figure out how to make his mace. I saw a YouTube video of how one guy made it. Looks pretty good.

I've online y ever built MG kits so far, so we'll see how this goes.

Victory gundam 48-END

Overall all this as now reached my top gundam shows.

Every character was amazing! Uso as to be one of the best MC in gundam in general, he was was ressourceful, likeable, shown to be vulnerable and he progressed so much since episode 1, truly a fantastic character.

It had some of my favorite gundam battles of all time(that last battle with the V2 using is Wings of Light as a shield HOLY SHIT).

Thw show artstyle was amazing, it's imo the perfect continuation from the other Tomino gundam shows. Colors were great and it had some fantastic environnement shots.

Story wise, it was great, the build up to the final was very well done. It constantly went up, never really slowing down. And that final battle had the absurdity level put to maximum! It made every last second of it amazing.

On a emotional level it stayed pretty consistent, but the one thing that pushed me to tear up a little was in the last episode where Karlmann said is first few words and tried to stand up, it was too much....the mix from the sweetness and cuteness from Karl with his desire to see Shahkti come back was amazing for me during the climax from the final battle.

Last few points, Katejina finished insane, she deserved that ending, crazy woman!

Also with how everyone was talking about this show, I was expecting much worst for deaths. While it was not tame, it was not anything particulary intense.

In conclusion this was amazing, it's really the first Tomino show that resonate with me and it resonated so well. Shame the other UC stuff he made just did not feel right for me.

So I finished another backlog, if anyone remember I finish kit fitting it like more than a year ago. Time to buy another kit to fill the drawer space.

Also tried to use lacquer paint in some minor parts, I can't believe how much better lacquer is compare to acrylic: dry fast, never clog airbrush, and harder than plastic. I would switch to full lacquer if the fume isn't so harmful.

If anyone never watched the show, it is from Aura Battler Dunbine.

I stopped by the mall on my way home and noticed that they had The Gundam Zeta blu-rays, so I compulsively bought them. Then when I made it home I found that my kit of Crossbone Gundam X-1 arrived.

Then today I bought the 0079 blu-rays from Right Stuffs holiday sale. I'm starting to think I may be buying a bit too many things Gundam as of late :S. (Its probably fine)

Also I am around halfway through Turn A and continue to love it.

Just went through all of the origin OVAs, and although they were awesome, I didn't realise what I was getting into. I was expecting a self-contained story, but it's more like a prequel and now I want to watch 0079 to see the story continue...

How much worse is 0079? these OVAs were the best gundam material I've seen by far (well, maybe not far better than wing, but still better). I'll definitely watch the upcoming OVAs, but wouldn't mind watching some older stuff if it's of decent quality.

maybe I'll just wait for the 0079 remake
surely it's coming right

You were right the first time. They are faaaaar better than Wing. Anyways, watch 0079. 0079 is so good. And the HD remaster just look so good. I think the classic animation has aged much better than early 00s series with bad CG and poor digital masters.

Personally I just watched the 0079 movies and I thought they did a fine job.

But then you will want to watch Zeta... there's no end.

FWIW, Gundam the Origin doesn't -really- lead into MSG TV or the MSG movies. You can choose to pretend it does, but Gundam the Origin itself is a fleshed out and more complete version of the entire story, from beginning to end. They simply chose to adapt the material chronologically because the prequel stuff was never animated before, but if and when they choose to continue on, the actual OYW story in Origin isn't a 1:1 version of the original series by any means.

If you can't wait ten years for them to animate it all, go read the manga!

I just watched the first origin movie today and just from the first OVA I can tell you it was much better then the 0079 movies at least, which are much too long imo and that sadly make them kind of boring.

Maybe the tv 0079 is better though.

Watch 0079. The show not the movie. Try to watch it in HD any chance you get.

Trust me I watched both for the first time this year.

Also the manga is dope. But reading it is literally just going to make you want to see the stuff in animation.

But don't be that cat waiting for a whole entire remake of 0079. Life is to short to be putting off great material

Tl;dr watch the 0079 show and treat everything else as complementary material to the story. Then watch the goat zeta
