They're not easy at all. I can deal with the Souls games, but not Mega Man, fuck that shit. Only one I made any sort of progress in was Mega Man X on the PSP.

Naruto is pretty bad imo, because for me after the whole Gaara stuff in part 1 it just got worse and worse.
It picked up when Shikamaru was the focus but then it went straight back down.
Honestly as much shit as season 2 of Korra gets (its has problems but I enjoyed the latter half), I found it more enjoyable then alot of part 2 Naruto and some of part 1.

Nope. Part 1 is legitimately good, and the legacy of part 1 is what made people somehow want to stick through the garbage of part 2.
To give NF credit, I would say a fair amount of the posters there think Naruto is trash.
Hell I found that site searching One Piece.
The best places are/were the OBD, UFC and other convos
Part 1 is good/alright (although like I said for me it gets weaker after gaara), so I think some people stayed for that and it was for alot of people there first anime they got into. Besides for DBZ its the most well known anime in the US.
Although I know alot people sticked with it hoping it would improve in part 2, they developed stockholm syndrome.
Animation wise part 1 was was fine although it was cheap in a few areas. Part 2 anime is pretty much trash with all the poor animation, the padding, the ost, the filler, etc.
In retrospect I like part 2 more than part one.
There is a lot of cool shit introduced in part 2. Thats just way cooler than part 1.
For example, cool anime black people. That automatically gets my respect, even avatar doesn't have that.

I'll agree with Village.... Killer B, the Raikage and the Lightning Village are the best things about Part 2 by far.

The raikage is easily one of the best people from part 2 (there not many)
Guy nearly killed Sasuke and sacrificed his arm to do so got to give him props for that.
Although after that fight I dropped naruto.

Like if the show didn't jump the shark from resurrecting everyone who died in the Pein Invasion.... just bringing everyone back to fight as undead for Kabuto just about killed it for me.

Part 2 had better concepts, and the certain high points were higher than anything in part 1, but overall it was a lot less consistent than part 1.
The manga was already bad for me after so long and so many bad moments like Sasuke vs D and how sasuke survived, Sasuke vs Itachi, Itachi whole past and that whole Pein invasion sealed the deal for me.
I stayed a bit and liked Raikage but once that Danzo fight started I was like

Now, I have little opinion on this since I've never watched the series save for a few fights and they were okay. I've played one of the games (Clash of Ninja 2) and it was fun. I read the last 5 chapters because I felt compelled to for some reason. This is all hearsay.
I remember back when the big push was that it was "the new DBZ" and it "fixed all of DBZ's issues" and all that. Plus, it started really strong, from what I understand. I haven't met a single person that hasn't said that the series' best (or one of the best) arcs is Zabuza. That's within the first 25 episodes, so a lot of people will argue that the series opened so strong and never lived up to that opening.
Basically, because it opened so strong, people kept it up. Now, the argument is that Part 1 stayed steady and then Shippuden dropped like a rock. People finished out of obligation. Mind you though, it's far more popular in the U.S. than it is in any other countries. OnePiece dominates Japan.
It sounds like I was right to jump ship when I did.

Sounds like I was right to never board the ship. I've still only seen the first ep. The dub voice for Naruto's character was annoying as well.
