We already cant make threads based on twitter rumors and she falls under that. You can't stop people from linking to twitter within threads in general though.

No she hasn't. She has always said October. That is a fact.
People were conflicting her and Eurogamer's information which suggested September but they had similar information regarding other aspects of the console it self.

Sorry but I really doubt she knows anything about a new Nintendo IP.
What bothers me the most is if that IP never is revealed she will just say "Nintendo changed their plans. The game didnt turn out to be good enough for their standards but it existed in some form."

She said she would update us later today if NX info was coming this week.
I guess she's waiting to see if Nintendo announces a Nintendo Direct today and then she can say "see guys I told you NX info was coming this week" or if there is no Direct announced today she'll say "sorry guys I've heard no big NX news this week, but get ready for NeXt week!"
I was 100% right and always was, you simply took her interpretation as gospel truth because she had a little fame and a Twitter soapbox. It's the celebrity effect. I get it. While I agree that Emily is spinning around for the past hour, I will reserve my judgment against her credibility until November.
In respect of new IP or gaming info, even Mochizuki-san from WSJ agreed with her about the tweet stating that NX games sound exciting. So I am going to give her benefit of doubt before judging if she really knows about that new IP. BTW, this is not the first time she reports a new IP as she said Retro is also working on one. Let's see if these two new IPs will pan out.
