This thread may have a chance at beating the Beta thread if it acts as all in one thread for pictures, Gametypes and Forge. Although after Launch, I think it's pretty likely that threads will be made for those specific subjects as it'll get cluttered in here after launch. I mean it'll be the best type of awesome clutteredness ever, but ya know.
Ya got to rememeber that the beta thread just had the events set out perfectly for getting the most amount of posts. First there was the pre hype, then us friends and family lot which generated alot of posts, And then the Crackdown bug hit and the thread just exploded.

Much like the Beta thread, there will be no need to sticky it. It will stay on the front page on it's own for quite a while.
As far as beating the Beta thread rapidly, I think that depends on whether or not there's more than a dozen pages of people screaming "LET ME IN! FUCK YOU BUNGIE!" because they can't load the game (ala the Crackdown fiasco, which had a significant impact on the size of the Beta thread) or some other issue of that nature.

Of course the beta also had it's bad memories for me too. My 360 died with 3 days left in it. Gah the painful memories of missing out on the last 3 or so days just hurts to this day.

Is it bad that I had a dream last night about coming home with Halo 3 for the first time?
I got home... placed the disc in the tray, but the tray started sucking the disc in before it was properly seated. The disc got scratched... I rush to get another only to find out that none were left... is this a glimpse into my future! Will I be doomed in the early morning hours of Sept 25th to watch my friends list full of people playing Halo 3.
Guess I will find out Sept 25th...

I saw some of you talking about the Beta's ranking system earlier, I played a disgusting amount of games during the Beta period, and before the Crackdown users hit, you really could level up by a huge number with one win. I think I went from level 5 to level 21 after one game in Team Slayer...but once the population grew it became really hard. I got like 48 in Rumble and 47 in TS, and I think at one point I won like 6 in a row and still didn't budge on my level...it was quite confusing.
