As a firearms enthuisast and one who has gone into the number crunching on propellant energy densities and such, some of their human weapon numbers are VERY odd. But damn it's cool getting some gearhead info on this stuff.

yeh i was on vacation july and august and didnt keep up with anything halo related.

My issues were mainly that the Earth weapons were so conservative, not that they were unrealistically using high explosives as propellants or anything. The pistol weight/expected recoil was a bit odd though (huge round + short barrel + high muzzle velocity = punishment on the user)

And because Frankie makes me think of Gendo ...
