One is for the iPod Classic/Nano, one is for iPhone/iPod Touch.

X-Plane for Mac, Windows, and Linux (www.X-Plane.com) is the most flexible and realistic flight simulator on the market for desktop personal computers. Using blade element theory for the most powerful and accurate flight model available for personal computers, and earning FAA certification for logging of flight time for pilots, X-Plane is the Gold Standard for accurate flight simulation, offering realism that is unmatched by any other simulator.
And now, thanks to the power of the iPhone and iPodTouch, X-Plane is available for these stunning little platforms. As in the full desktop version, X-Plane for iPhone lets you experiment with different times of day, weather, sky conditions, wind, turbulence and airplanes, all while flying the craft from various different views in the stunning terrain topography of Innsbruck, Austria, home to some of the most challenging mountains and topography for aviation.
We here at Laminar Research are still a bit shell-shocked at how powerful this little device is, and how much power in flight simulation can be stuffed into it... the power of X-Plane can now be had with you... anywhere.

Apple claims that its against trade rules or something to buy software using store credit or something. Now there is no way I can buy the spore game (or any app that costs money) This really sucksso what about eb games and all the other major retail stores

Yeah I remember their mobile app implementation. I actually got to tinker with the mobile Friends List and achievement tool along with a mobile version of Hexic. It was a really cool idea, sadly MS wasn't up to making it happen I suppose.Dirtbag 504 said:Someone really needs to do a gamertag app. I want to be able to pull up my friendslist quickly, fire off messages, and check and reply to them. Would be sort of like what was promised at xbox launch, only finally done on a mac product. :lol
Basically xbox.com lite.

Pandora Radio is my personal favorite app.Deadly Monk said:So what are top three games (don't care if they're free or not) in your opinions? Just got the 2nd Gen Touch and want some games.
Oh and top three Apps as well. Or most useful.
Yeah, but you have to host a text file somewhere and it gets the names from what you've typed up.Kung Fu Jedi said:1337pwn released an update today that allows you to import friends directly into it rather than entering them all individually. It's not quite what Microsoft promised, but it gets a bit closer with each update. You can check out your friends, send them messages, view their achievements and so on. Works pretty nice.
I just downloaded it, and it still fails for not putting your online friends at the top.Kung Fu Jedi said:1337pwn released an update today that allows you to import friends directly into it rather than entering them all individually. Still manually entering though I guess it's a bit faster.
And you need a quick host.

It's really sluggish, so having to scroll for a mile just to see if someone beginning with an 's' is online is hell.

Kung Fu Jedi said:What? I just did the import, and it's super easy. Go to their import website, cut and paste your friends list, input an e-mail address to send the file notice to, and the app pretty much does everything else. Took maybe five minutes, and now I have my entire friends list online.
Agreed. Now that I have all my friends on the list, it's even more annoying. They need to have an option to move them to the top or just show the ones online. Still, for a free app, it's pretty solid.

PhlivoSong said:Don't forget, that free app was originally $8 before MS forced them to make it free. They've always seemed to be trying to find a way to make money first and make something that functions later. When they first had the web app, my initial impression of it was... ok, ads at the top and bottom of my friends list... that's nice.
I'm really not a fan of the products they make at all.

Ta-da!Remy said:You all need to buy Star Trigon. It's from the Mr. Driller team, it works perfectly on the iPhone (since it's essentially a one button game), art and sound production values are high, and it's fun as shit. GO GO GO.
Stupid small fonts! I read that earlier and missed it. arg!cjelly said:Ta-da!

I don't plan on whoring it out here, in case you wondered. At most I'll post a preview in this thread when we get approved. I'm just too excited not to mention it somewhere.

Good luck with it!
Just the kind of game this phone is missing.PotatoeMasher said:It's a tower defense game. Lots of play testing to go, but it's getting there.
