Fucking Aurora Feint is great. I didn't even realize it used the accelerometer. I sat my phone down and all the tiles went tumbling. LOL. Awesome stuff.

the hudson-soft sudoku game is really great, by the way.

slick interface and lots of features. very nice.
 
I got some games now. Aurora Feint and Tap Tap Revenge for free and I bought Motion X Poker and Critter Crunch from the apps store. :D

EDIT: Finally let me buy the darn thing, what an ordeal this all was. Now off to enjoy AIM on my iTouch! YAYA! :)

seems like apple finally pulled their act together. ipod touch 2.0 from itunes ahoy.
 
+1 for aurora feint, only spent a little time with it so far but it has a lot more polish in the menus and interface then 90% of the other iphone games.
 
Thats heaps, I can't believe Apple are charging for an update, I only bought my iPod Touch a few weeks back - it's just lucky the update is so easy to do yourself.
 
got aurora feint, WOW

and get cube runner, everyone. it's really basic, but a fun demo of some tech that i hope shows up very soon in a lot of games.
 
Wow Aurora Feint is another great one, it really is Panel de Pon and free.

Didn't spot it as it's only just been added. Looks like mt iPhone will be used for a alot more gaming than I thought.


With the lack of demos I wish some trusted gaming sites would get some brief reviews up but super bad timing with e3.

if you have wifi google docs might work? i think it has a mobile version.

i can type fairly well on mine now i've got used to it
 
Everyone needs to try Pandora radio now that it's FREE on the iphone and the touch, it's an incredible service for finding new music at high quality bitrates.

Everyone in America, it's restricted these days. Hopefully Last.fm will get a client though.

I think everyone should try AquaForest, it's a bit rough around the edges but very interesting!

I don't see why people don't use a fake zip code...wouldn't that work?

There's even a zip code app for those interested :lol

PS - Anyone else used the Remote? Pretty good free app when doing dishes and your comp is WAYYYYYY in the other room and you want to turn the song up.
 
Can't stop playing Motion Poker, all those little achievements are like hits on a crack pipe - and I'm not even very good at it! Still haven't gotten over 100 creds.

'Remote' works perfectly too, very handy app.

Tell me more, I really want a decent internet radio app and Pandora doesn't show up in my apps.

The iTunes store works based on credit card address, so you can't easily get around it for buying stuff (some people use fake addresses with foreign pre-pay cards.)

The real issue is Pandora.com forwards me to pandora.com/restricted these days, I've used it since launch as well! It's checking IP address for location, which I could get around by ssh forwarding off a US server but imagine the effort ~_~

Actually, Last.fm is based in London and that's where I live, so I'll give them my support instead.

1) Create an alt account without any setup billing, the Pandora is free so just register that and install with a fake zip code.

2) Is there a last.fm app on the store yet?
 
can we get a list of gaf-worthy games in the OP, please?
 
Pandora.com is blocked from my country so I doubt the app would work over wifi anyway. I tried the allMusic, it works but seems lacking some critical features like uh, a volume control?!
 
WTF, can anyone with an iPod Touch control their game volume? Either by using the overlay volume control or has anyone seen a game that offers a volume control somewhere in the options? o_0

Can you iPhone owners control the volume of your apps with your volume buttons?

Part of the reason you're not seeing those at this point - and why the last.fm app won't be doing scrobbling, and why Tap Tap Revenge can't access your music library - is because there's no API hook at this time for access the music you have on your device.
