Does anyone know if I can pay for the repair at the Apple Store and get my refurb/repair that day, or do I have to go through the mail? I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

I've not played Tiger, but have you tried Let's Golf on the iPhone? It's the Gameloft version of Hot Shots, and is essentially exactly the same game. It's great.Dilbert said:Also, how is the Tiger Woods game for iPhone? Keep in mind that I love Hot Shots Golf for PSP and have never played a Tiger Woods golf game before. Will the controls drive me nuts? Does it chew battery? How many courses are in it?
Benedict said:Big sale on a lot of Gameloft games.
edit: and another sale on Secret of Monkey Island, 50%
toucharcade said:Never one to let EA steal the spotlight for very long, Gameloft also is having their own sale today with a few of their games reduced to 99¢. We're not sure how long this is going to last, so if you've been thinking about picking any of these up it probably isn't a good idea to wait as they likely won't get any cheaper than this.
Castle of Magic ($1.99 -> 99¢)
Real Tennis 2009 ($4.99 -> 99¢)
Blades of Fury ($4.99 -> 99¢)
Terminator Salvation ($4.99 -> 99¢)
Brothers in Arms Hour of Heroes ($4.99 -> 99¢)
Shrek Kart ($4.99 -> 99¢)
Good game but limited, as in fly towards a target and hope your shields are better then theirs. It shows because it's a java mobile phone port but it does look great and run smooth so worth it if you like flying games with an ok space story.Melhisedek said:How is Galaxy on Fire? Anyone tried it? looks awesome in any case![]()
I was going to buy it just to play as Sparkster, but checking youtube gameplay videos I decided to pass.cw_sasuke said:Bought Secret of Monkey Island, Castle of Magic, Real Tennis 09 and Blade of Fury![]()

I too really loathe the idea of paying an extra 100 dollars just for 8 gigs... So, what's the real difference we're talking about here. Is it like PS3 to 360 versions of games or is it a true gap in performance? Can someone clear it up for me. I've been dying to go pick it up and now I really want to know before I spend my dollars.

We have another original game which will hopefully be out before the end of the year which is shaping up nicely.

Will wait till they fix those scrolling lags that some users mentioned on TA.FlyinJ said:Battle for Wesnoth is very, very good. Definitely recommend that one, even over Rogue Planet. It has about 20x the content, as well as a much more Fire Emblem/RPG feel.

MeDilbert said:Just wanted to say that MiniSquadron is awesome. I forget who said that it was like an amped-up version of the classic PC game Sopwith Camel, but that's pretty much right. It's a blast going back and retrying stages with new aircraft to see how that affects things.
I'm pretty happy with TW, to be honest. The graphics could be a lot more polished and the difficulty could be a lot better (I'm consistently getting birdies on almost every hole) but there is an insane number of courses (seven) and it feels like a good golf game. Definitely worth getting, imo.Also, how is the Tiger Woods game for iPhone? Keep in mind that I love Hot Shots Golf for PSP and have never played a Tiger Woods golf game before. Will the controls drive me nuts? Does it chew battery? How many courses are in it?
Also if you were to buy the 32gig last year/last january you would have paid the same value for what now is the 8 gig device back then, my 2g can hold out for quite a while longer so I don't worry about it.LCfiner said:you're not paying 100 bucks for 8 GB of storage. you're paying 100 dollars for 24 GB of storage. the 300 dollar model is 32 GB not 16.
plus it's way faster and has voice control.
apps load way faster and, as an example, Katamari Damaci now plays almost twice as fast as on the older hardware. it's a big difference

I'm fairly sure that the multiplier is related to a streak of kills. As long as too much time doesn't elapse between kills, the multiplier seems to keep going.kathode said:So I played through Minisquadron and absolutely loved it, but I only unlocked about seven or eight planes. Can someone explain how the scoring works to me? When I down enemy planes, sometimes I get a multiplyer and sometimes I don't, and I can't figure out what determines that.
Latest update broke something so I believe the game has been removed until the fix is up, can't remember the problem but it must be something like crashing on boot or lock-ups.BitchTits said:Did they take Ghouls & Ghosts down from the UK iTunes store, I was looking at it a couple of weeks back, but can't find it anywhere on there now?
