I just played through the Sword & Poker 2 lite app and it was pretty fun but I'm curious does anyone know what an approximate play time for the game would be?

I just realized I've bought over 25 games so far. It is way to easy to find great games for great prices (or for free):

Angry Birds
Blast Off
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2
Flick Kick Football
Flight Control
Fruit Ninja
Groovin' Blocks
Labyrinth 2
Lumines: Touch Fusion
Minesweeper Classic 2
Pacman Championship Edition
Peggle
Pinball Dreams
PixelCross
Plants v Zombies
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010
Real Racing
Real Tennis 2009
Rogue Planet
Scrabble
Skee-Ball
Solitare
Soosiz
Sudoku
Tilt to Live
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2

...and I'm still waiting for Let's Golf 2 and/or Tiger Woods 11 and Risk

Even though I hate RPGs, I'm still tempted to get Chaos Rings or Secret of Mana :lol
Weren't you waiting for the new iPod touch in September? Do you even have one yet, or are you just amassing games? :lol

Go team! Australia won its semifinal match against Japan in the iPhone World Championship - thanks to everyone who voted for us!

And now the Grand Final is on.

AUSTRALIA vs. USA

Flight Control vs. Doodle Jump

Remember, a vote for Flight Control is a vote for all the games - Fruit Ninja and Real Racing! If you want to support us please vote for Australia, although with the USA and Doodle Jump being pretty much as big as the iPhone gets, we've got a tough battle!

Bought it. Tested it out a bit and love it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hipstamatic is so awesome, I can't wait to try it on iPhone 4, I'm expecting faster photo developing time to go along with the better camera quality.

I know other apps shouldn't be mentioned here, but: Hipstamatic is my favorite app. Ever. I love lomography so fucking much, and the app is so freakishly addictive. Just look at some of the pictures I took

Thanks for this recommendation, been fiddling with this app all day and I love it to death.

EPICWIN by Rexbox (of Little Big Planet fame) and Minimono (of Mini Squadron fame).

It's one part to do list, one part RPG, 100000 parts amazing looking.

Whoa. I want this right now. I'm in need of an awesome to-do app (Awesome Note is just too much, 2Do Lite is good) and this seems perfect. Can't wait for the release!

Dude, Today Todo Pro is a todo app that changed my LIFE! Srsly, it really made me wanna get shit done, it's that sleek and beautiful.

However... If Epic Win ends up being as awesome as it seems, it just may take its throne! :D

I've had it for a month or 2 and love it, taken some awesome shots with it

but

I have just discovered an app called Camera+ on the app store and, well... early days but I think it's better.
it's cheap (no need to buy more filters and shit), has heaps of options, awesome presentation and best of all you can edit your shots after you take them... so you can take a bunch of shots without the processing time, then add filters after, and you get to preview them all before saving.

worth checking out FOR SURE!

Camera+ is my main camera app atm (though I use TurboCamera for fast-burst shots, no other camera app does this properly at full res). But nothing comes close to the lomo-ish post-processing of Plastic Bullet, which I use all the time after I've taken shots.

More of you guys need to get GodFinger. It is the first free-to-play app that actually drew me in and wasn't boring as hell. I think you should at least check it out - I'm on my iPod right now or else I'd give you a link to make it easier for you to try it. Seriously, what have you got to lose?

I need more friends on Plus+ and OpenFeint! Add me: Flunkie

How are these camera apps on the iPhone 4. Heading to the beach in a day and would like to goof around with one of these but I would rather not have low res pictures if that's what they do.

Not sure if I should pick up Hipstamatic, Camera+, or now Plastic Bullet. :lol

Today i got my first apple product, ipod touch 2g. so far its excelent! played few games (flight controll, fruit ninja, angry birds).

Just finished Hector: Badge of Carnage Ep. 1: We Negotiate with Terorists

Pretty awesome point-and-click. Took 2-3 hours I guess. Pretty funny, but very very British.

I'll definitely be getting the rest.

PikPok just released Birdstrike Featherlite today, a free version of Birdstrike featuring Endless Mode and OpenFeint integration from the full version.

Birdstrike Featherlite is our first release featuring iAds, so we are very interested to see how that plays out.

Happy that Jet Car Stunts is soon getting an iOS4 anti-aliasing update, with its super-clean graphics that's exactly what it needs.

Also, I really must emphasize just how awesome Twin Blades is after the update, I started playing it again recently and the game is so damn engaging now and there's tons to do, love it.

So I downloaded this just to check out iAds, but interestingly I don't see any ads in it? What am I missing?

God damn Fruit Ninja is addicting like nobody's business. I like that there are both OpenFeint achievements to get, as well as actual in-game achievements too that actually unlock more content. That's awesome.

Downloaded the Basic version after reading your post. I just love how simple, easy, and flexible it is. It's designed to get things done. Period. No clutter at all. Loving it.

Even though I have (and dislike -not hate-) Doodle Jump, I really enjoyed this. My friend really loved it, so I bought the Gold (paid) version for us to play with. I'm really proud for supporting the team, love the sleek design and simplicity in every title I bought (FK Rugby, Football, Field Goal, and this. FKF takes the crown IMO). Good luck guys, I hope you benefit from iAds.

They should kick in shortly after you hit any menu screen (no ads during gameplay). I know it is working because I can see the stats starting to come up on the Apple dev site.

However, only people in the US will get ads. No other countries have it enabled yet (although I can see iAd server requests from other countries coming in). If you live outside the US, that is why you are not seeing any. If you are inside the US, then it might be you have a slower data connection and are skipping through the menus before the ad has a chance to download fully and display.

Thanks for supporting us. FKF update with new mode should land in the next few days (was submitted on Monday).

Fingers crossed. Around US$6.50 earned so far. Hope that picks up :D

Is there more iphone adventure games like that one, some thing new and original and not ports of old games [broken sword, monkey island, etc]??

Ah, yeah. I live in Sweden.

I guess this is the kind of region locking I don't mind. It's weird though...
