May as well post what your stats are right now. Oh neato, it keeps a running total of zombies killed. Missing a lot of the other stuff..or just that my last game wasn't on versus? Oh, it's different tabs. I think the average life spans as infected are messed up? I don't think I hardly ever live the average times.

Here's mine, the survival stuff isn't really necessary.

Hm, I'd imagine it has the right number for me, maybe some things are off for different people. Oh, you can compare them on the same page!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the stats are still crap. Uzi is 100% accuracy for me, for instance. Assault rifle says 75% accuracy, etc.

I'm also 100% accurate with the Uzi. It also only says 16 versus games... and total playtime of 33h? Yeah, right.

These might as well be random numbers.

I'm not 100% in the Uzi. The numbers may be right for mine, but they seem a bit high. At least Pop does almost as much FF damage as me, Mister "I never FF" (but when he does he blows someone's head off).

I don't mind helping you out. Getting Nothing Special was an exercise in frustration but ultimately so rewarding... don't mind trying for it again ;)

Technically, Nothing Special is like, too much work. But assuming Valve can get their achievements to stop glitching, I might like No Upset or Untouchables some day.

Sweet, I checked out the free Friday demo on Steam on my new laptop, and it runs very well (at default everything is Medium to High settings). I'll probably be picking it up with the sale, but it's weiiiiiiiiiiiird playing a game on PC. I've NEVER had a PC that could play games before. I played this and Half-Life 2 a little (got Orange Box last week on sale) on PC, and despite playing console shooters for 10+ years, I'm totally retarded on PC trying use the mouse/keyboard :lol . I'm fine with the mouse look, it's just hard getting used to WASD, although I think it's at least partially the fact I'm on a laptop, I need to hook up a keyboard and see if that helps.

I refuse to believe I only have 215 hours of logged in L4D playtime. I mean, I already have 500+ hours of SFIV playtime and it really felt like I was playing L4D way too much around the time it came out.

I've never been able to use WASD, but I doubt my config would be much better instead for you. They didn't fix whatever was wrong with the Warehouse level, I still am "missing" that gold. And no one can see your stats Nabs. :|

I don't know, the full version came with my computer I think.

According to my survival tab I don't have all gold medals. I'll try to get those (again) and see if it triggers. :D

HAY GUYS

I think I'll pick this up on the Steam deal. I've downloaded the free full version just to try it out...but quick question:

I have a wired X360 controller. I don't want to use it to play because mouse and keyboard is the shit, but can I use the X360 headset through it? I plugged it in and I heard the windows chime letting me know it detected a new device, and it shows up under the sound button, but when I go to test mic in the game it doesn't do anything. I can definitely here noise (light static) if I turn it all the way up on the slider spin dial on it...any ideas? I tried googling, nada

update:

I downloaded some Microsoft accessories program and now if I plug in the headset my sound goes through it, but still no mic. And I don't really want my sound going through it anyway :|

Yay, I am reminded once again how awesome this game is. I <3 this game. Survivor is so much fun if you get some easy going people to play with you. I want to pick this up for 360 to play with my xbox friends but I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do it. Damn this game is so much fun and I'm glad those who haven't got to play it, get to do so for free.

Left 4 Dead is pretty fuckin' amazing. I was dead in the water because my friends online were trying to rush me to play, so much so they didn't explain to me what the controls were, so I was just moving around, trying to ask what the controls were to the game. X3

The stats actually aren't that great (75% assault rifle, sure). Stats make everyone want to compete against each other...all I want is achievements not to be glitched so everyone can be happy and complete stuff. :lol Poor Bulleta and others, who have all the survivor gold medals...except NOT.
