Yea, I was a bit off-target on the first attempt and late on firing in the second.Red Scarlet said:"I got it, I got it, I got it!"
"I don't got it".
But at least the first time you shot your gun!
Well, it looks like you shot the same time she swiped.
Red Scarlet said:She like roundhouse uppercut him. :lol Super Macho Man style.
Wish I would've gotten the police car (didn't know it could be punched) being punched in my face and it flying over me and the Tank/zombie escape in the luggage conveyor belt room.
:lolRed Scarlet said:But with Pillow it would be hilarious.
Red Scarlet said:Yeah. Seems much easier than recording demos (it gets really skippy, and there are playback issues with newer patches iirc).
CrookedRain said::lol
I still remember randomly being shot in the back of the head with a shotgun on expert campaign runs with Pillow.
Red Scarlet said:Can use VirtualDub to shorten it or just use a gif program outright from the avi.

See! I know I'm not crazy, something about that area makes the fire go on the attack!Red Scarlet said:lolroom strikes again.
Shake Appeal said:I got tired of waiting for my regular team to assemble and have a run at this with me. So I did it myself. You know, solo. With only bots for company.
*awesome pic*
What now, Valve?
I did it on Easy, on Blood Harvest, playing as Zoey (to ensure that none of the bots grabbed a hunting rifle). A perfect run takes ~20 minutes or a little longer.LunaticPuma said:Holy shit. That's awesome. Any tips? Did you do it on easy? I will have to try it solo since I never have a regular crew for this game.
...I think you need to play with real people more often.Shake Appeal said:Yeah, with the bots, unless you luck out, you can't get pounced or pulled at all, because you can't rely on them to react in time. Tanks are fine provided you have a little space to work in (for the BH finale I actually sat out the back, where the rescue vehicle departs, and then moved up past the log to fight the tanks just behind the house).
Definitely couldn't do the different branches trick on BH2 with bots, as they will always stop to fight a tank.
Eventually you end up thinking of them as a kind of semi-intelligent gun platform you drag behind you. You also start to give them actual personalities. Bill is my least liked, because he once got pounced on the other side of the cornfield from everyone else, whereas Louis was always dependable.
Untouchables I got with 3 friends, but I got Stomach Upset with one friend. I am going to have to try this out myself. It seems straightforward enough.Daigoro said:damn, thats probably how ill have to get NS on 360. :/
thats how i got untouchables and stomach upset. sadly.
Beginning Friday at 12:01 am GMT, the PC version of Left 4 Dead will be available for a free 24-hour trial via Steam. The free trial will include access to the recently released Survival Pack DLC, which introduces a new multiplayer game mode and two additional Versus campaigns. Those who wish to give L4D and the Survival Pack a try may now pre-load everything needed to play with no obligation to purchase.
It's probably the best way to get Untouchables, given the bots' accuracy.Daigoro said:damn, thats probably how ill have to get NS on 360. :/

Although It's funny to me now how I thought Stomach Upset might be tricky at the time (although I did it on my first attempt). Now it's just like one tenth of Nothing Special in my mind.
SailorDaravon said:I did something crazy tonight with the smoker that I will try to explain, hopefully this makes sense. I don't THINK this is supposed to happen, or if it's duplicatable or not.
I'm a Smoker at the start of Dead Air 2. I climb up the roof and jump from that roof into the room near the top of the building that the Survivors start in that has two wooden planks barring the window, and that window looks directly down on where the Survivors come out underneath the garage doors out of the safe room. Standing on that window ledge (probably as far out as I could without falling), I pulled a Survivor as he was near the top of the ladder going up to the fire escape which is directly to my left. Now I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or not, but when I pulled him it pulled him STRAIGHT across to me at that same height, way over the fence, and I wound up incap'ing him since the other team apparently had no idea what had happened. I'm thinking that because I was basically on the ledge and the ladder is close enough to that left wall, my tongue was basically pulling him across the window ledges, which kept him at the same height, as opposed to me just pulling him down off the ladder and on their side of the fence.
Has anyone else done that, or wants to try duplicating it? If you can do that consistently it would be pretty awesome; if you're unable to straight incap them that way, you could have the rest of your team work with you so even if his teammates shoot him down, they can try to keep the Survivor on your side of the fence and incap him before he can get back over to their side (unless there's a way for Survivors to get back over that fence that I've not seen).
You bastards had to do this the day before I get off on summer vacation. =(Botolf said:Woo! Played through an Easy campaign with Bulleta, Ezekiel, and Daigoro. We successfully snatched Nothing Special after many tries.
All that remains in my achievement list are the three Survival medal achievements.
Red Scarlet said:Hunters jump-slashing and instantly appearing Tanks were our main problem when Pop/Goreomedy/MarvelHarvey/I got Nothing Special. On Easy, it's pretty pointless to speed up the Tank by setting it on fire, just blow it away. And it's not very difficult to just initiate the event on BH2 and BH3 and make a mad dash for the safe room during the event, it's probably recommended to do so (but watch out for instant Tanks).
Our NS run is still around if it'd help, LP.

Red Scarlet said:Since I made that one, I made Daigoro's vid. He managed to set up 6 propane tanks on top of the fireplace on the lighthouse, so he thought it'd be neat to use them in a grand explosion, with gas cans. I suggested setting it all off with a pipe bomb, and got a good view of the hilarious result. So here you go, Daigoro.

And Red Scarlet being bossy? Wow, she hardly ever types anything, let alone says anything.

Nah, it was me and Dai talking about it, Scarlet naturally wanted us to spend less time typing and more time playingBlizzard said:;_; She must just be afraid to talk when I play.
