I think i'm finally starting to get the hang of playing as the Tank. Incapacitated 3 out of the 4 survivors last time, sadly the other booked it to the safe room.
I was originally planning on doing co-op on expert, but the day it was released I did most of the campaign on advanced. Then I started playing versus and haven't looked back (tried a couple randoms here and there.)
In fact, I was just playing playing a couple of single-player stages on Advanced that I'd never seen before.

man i was having a really hard time against the tanks in expert last night. i got killed by every one that spawned except for one. i was trying to run a lot, but they always seemed to catch up. those things are hard on expert.

Aggro is a term from MMO which basically refers to the attention of an enemy. Basically, it's being said that on expert, you can't get the attention of a tank off of someone else by bashing them.Daigoro said:

I just camp it out in the two small rooms in the house and when its tank time run out and kill him then "try" to make it back to the small rooms. repeat till the boat gets there.
To be exact, even after you start meleeing the tank, he usually swings one more time. And this puts the rescuer in just as much danger as the rescuee, because he'll often turn around to hit the rescuer. And apparently it has like an AoE or something.fallout said:

Meleeing a tank seems to work for me. Two or three hits and he starts coming after me.

I've been playing with some RL friends who don't like playing in public games online, mostly due to bad experiences in the past with other games involving getting berated for being inexerpienced, as a result we end up playing with the AI a lot.
It's getting to the point where I can't stand playing with the bots. They are technically a lot more competent than probably 99% of players that i've played with, but i'll take 3 random human players over 1 friend and 2 bots or even 2 friends and 1 bot any day of the week. The bots are just so lifeless and I feel so disconnected from them and have no motivation to try and work with them, and it seems like such a waste to not let someone else in on the fun.
I'm slowly trying to get my friends to make our games public to let random people in, but years of dealing with assholes on the internet have hardened them to the idea. I think i'm beginning to crack their shells, though.
I will say that both the 360 and PC communities for this game have been awesome. The (mostly versus) games I have gotten in on with other GAF players have been especially fun.

Just continue using the comfy couch argument and keep moving because the gap is only going to become wider every 6 months to the point where the 360 will start receiving stripped and ported down PC games (i.e. Doom3, HL2 on Xbox). Right now you can buy a rig that could blow away the 360 for around the same price as an Xbox 360 Elite. ...or perhaps he just meant his PC is shit and couldn't run L4D on a comparable level to the 360 version?
Anyway, still loving this game. Best online game I've ever played

I would cry that people today still have such difficulty reading, but it's Shaheed. No surprise there.
My current rig, the one I actually own is worse than my 360. Not that I won't eventually upgrade - I intend to with my taxes - but at the moment, it is inferior and therefore the visual experience is inferior to my 360. As visuals is one of the most important things in gaming to me, I cannot take the downgrade.

I thought you were trying to start some stuff Amir0x so I apologize for misinterpreting your comments. I just detest the hypocrisy of people who put such a big importance on graphics and framerates and protest weaker consoles yet they continue to settle for inferior versions of simultaneous releases of cross platform games. I was somewhat guilty of this graphics whore sin until gaming rigs became highly affordable.Amir0x said:

I was the human pipe bomb once I got boomered on after picking you up. It's like the A.I director goes after the people who rescue the incapacitated.

So I found that adjusting the Game Volume slider also affects Voice chat, which still doesn't help me and my loud gun problems.
Is it normal for there to be no pipe bombs or Molly's in the finale of Blood Harvest(Expert)? I mean no where, not the farm house, barn, hay stack or shack. Tried a bunch of times earlier with both teammates (pubs, ugh) and AI. Just couldn't handle the second tank without being able to ignite.
