They should do DLC for both PS3 and 360, with an optional disc based released that supports Natal and Wand. That way, gamers like me can be happy and don't have to rebuy the game for a control scheme I don't want to use. I just want my hands on the new content.
Fun game. I liked 4 better, but I'm having a blast trying to get the Platinum trophy on this. Just beat the game on professional. Now I'm going thru looking for the rest of the BSAA emblems and the rest of the treasure (and upgrading weapons).
Question, when you play as Sheva, do you have access to treasures/emblems you normally wouldn't? Or is everything available to you as Chris?

i have RE5 on rental ..but i'm actually having to FORCE myself to play ... and when i do i just wont unless i can get some one online to joine me ..can sitt there for a while before any1 trys to join up.
This game now looks so dated compared to Uncharted 2, and all that's because Capcom chose to make it a simple co-op 3rd-person action shooter... With RE6 the series must definitely return back to its survival/horror roots...

The only graphical glitches are very minor ones like village majini jumping over fences, but the animation not fully matching up so they look like they float for a split second. But that's only really minor stuff.

I think you'll have to wait quite a while before we see something like that There's a relatively big thread on RE5 mod forums requesting a shirtless Chris, but we don't have any tools for doing drastic changes to models or importing new models. There's 2 guys who are working on a tool for that as far as I know, and one of them is unfortunately not sharing any of his progress so far even though he's managed to export models from the game.
All of the other model replacements are with models which are already in the game, like Wesker shirtless.
By the way, for the rocket launcher quick fire:
-Put rocket launcher in one of the d-pad slots and remember which one
-Equip a pistol, shotgun or another weapon and aim where you wanna fire the rocket
-While still aiming, switch to the rocket launcher using the d-pad and hold the fire button just after pressing the d-pad. You'll switch weapons insanely fast and fire immediately.
Maybe I'll create a video sometime showing most of the tricks. You will have no chance playing versus unless you know all those tricks (especially survivor). The people still playing versus are just absolutely insane.
That's great to hear (Shirtless Chris)! I'm no modder, but I figured it'd be kind of hard to do that since there's no model of it, like you said. The closes you could get to a shirtless model is his Warrior costume, no? Well, it doesn't matter since I'll never play the PC version, but it'd be fun to watch someone play as a shirtless Chris
so make sure to use that mod when it's done and report back with a video

Just finished this on Normal, Full Co-Op run with TheFrankman86. Great game but I really really really really hate those action button sequences. Really!
Anyone what is the fastest way to gain EXP points for buying up all the Special stuff like figurines and unlimited ammo?
This was an excellent action game - but a VERY dissapointing Resident Evil game. I still wonder if Capcom will keep taking it this direction or take it back to its true horror roots - or both?
... although he's not releasing the tool he made, so nekkid Sheva is the only new model we'll have for now. I'm not complaining though Other people are also working on figuring out the model format and they're getting very good progress, so hopefully in not too long people will be able to import completely new models into the game. Maybe at that point we'll even get nekkid Jill!

Some people on xentax forums are getting pretty close to figuring out everything with the .mod format so I don't think it's too long to wait before models in RE5 can be replaced (or DMC4 and LP for that matter).

Anyone who hasn't bought the PC version should buy it now, so they can join in with the mods and see if they can master the art of fapping with one hand while playing the game.

It's gonna make me so sad if the DLC doesn't hit PC at some point. I booted up the 360 version to play with a friend last week, and after playing everything maxed with AA, 60fps with KB+M controls, the console versions are borderline unplayable for me now.

I would have grabbed RE5 on the PC from this weekends sales but due to no idea if we will get the DLC or not, I passed on all the offers. and I do not want to re-buy the 360 version again after selling it a little while ago.
Think you could do that and play a Mercs level?
