You may hate it, but I believe with fighters, there is definitely a clear division between hardcore and casual. Much more so than with any other mutliplayer genre. I don't think they will change even with the in depth tutorial mode in SF4. The execution part of it is the truly divisive factor IMO.
I honestly don't think it's a bad thing, but it's there.
