I played that .de guys blanka like the same day people were talking about him like a week or so ago. I think I beat him, but I didn't think he was terrible even though I'm not good at the blanka matchup. He just tried to be tricky, but I guess that's what every blanka does.

I finally won my first G2 Championship today, huzzah. As it turns out, I'm pretty terrible against charge characters and I kept drawing them in semi's and finals, finally got something like 4 Ryu's in a row, I don't remember exactly but there was at least 3, and beat them. I've learned the Ryu match up pretty well thanks to online play, it's tons of fun as an Akuma.
Also, ordered an arcade stick, I had been playing on a standard 360 controller since I got the game (Septemberish) and now all my practice is going to be reset to 0, time to warm up Trial Mode again.

Got in some early morning SF4. Ran into a pretty horrible Akuma who rage quit before his 5th straight loss then sent me a message about how he hates Viper because Akuma/Viper is 7-3 in Viper's favor. le wat. Akuma's such a hard match for Viper it isn't even funny.

I've been playing a lot less myself. I am not that good, but I am pretty content with my skills as far as that I am competent enough that I extract a lot of enjoyment out of the game and not get frustrated whether I win or lose. Online comp right now is sooo bad right now, as lost fragment points out.
