Yeah, yeah they're not very good but the video quality is really nice. Also the first time I saw Hondas headbutt going pretty much straight through Sagats fireball.

Gotta look for the Honda part since I joined the stream after that, but the Vega Bloody High Claw launch was around 1 hour 12 minutes, and Bison full-screen Psycho Punisher was around 1 hour 26 minutes...

Honda's EX headbutt went through EX tigershot at about 6:43 I think.
 
Still going to stick with Dhalsim as my main, but most likely going to mess around with Adon, Makoto, Hakan (despite his hideous appearance!), Dan, Cody and maybe even Vega / Claw on the side. Probably not going to spend too much time with Cody though if it turns out he's Super's Easy Mode character.

On a sidenote: not too worried about Bison's second Ultra, even with its cross-up ability. Seems to me - unless I'm missing something - you can use Yoga Tower to avoid its impact or if that fails, simply Reversal Teleport to safety. Furthermore: forgot who mentioned it a few pages back and not going to bother looking it up the exact post, but even IF you couldn't grab Balrog's dash punches anymore (I know it's still in), it wouldn't have been a major loss for Dhalsim. It's not like that was the only way for him to defend against those in IV.

- Yoga Catastrophe has always been kiiiiinda weak (at level 1 at least), unless you're fighting against low-health characters. Not too worried personally.

- Regarding the bolded part: did you use the KKK teleport?

- Not calling you a liar or anything, but hoping this isn't true or has really finnicky timing to pull it off consistently.

Secondary: Makoto, Ibuki, Rufus, Juri

Deciding on a single main's always been tough for me. I'm sure I'll use all of the above pretty evenly.

Yeah - I found it, and from yesterday I got the impression from others that it went through on start-up, but HP and EX Headbutt went straight through while already flying - which is what I've been hoping for ever since SFIV! Even the HP version did it as well!

However, they only went through low Tigers, I saw him get hit out of high ones twice, EX Headbutt as well, unless the invincibility wears off a bit after flying...

I'm so happy that Honda got the ability to go through projectiles with Headbutt, an Oicho Ultra with little to no start-up and Fuerte got a (although minor) health boost (and all the top characters getting their health & DP's reduced boosts him even more!) and I've gotten every specific wish that I've wanted granted - I'm as satisfied as I can be.

Fuck I just realised this game is coming out in about a month. Also I was able to get SF4 a week before it's official release date. If I can get SSF4 a week earlier, that would be only 3 weeks. I can't wait. It's a shame I will not be able to play online until June (stupid University halls blocking online gaming).

My bad - I think all headbutts fly over low tiger now.

I am going to try everyone before I decide who will be my main since it will be different for me. I didn't take SF4 serious but I will with SSF4.

Also I main T.Hawk from SSF2 and SFA3 so I am more likely to main him again but we shall see.

it'd be terrible if all the sakuras out there had something to do against dhalsim other than dying. >_>
 
I'll probably stick with my scrubby Rog. Then have Cody,Makoto, and Dudley as back ups. Might even replace Rog with Cody for the hell of it.

And doing even a backdash or jab while close to Fuerte when he has ultra 2 is asking to get ultra'ed.

Fuerte's Ultra 2 is going to be one of the top 3 ultras in the game w/o any doubt.
 
the anti-fireballness of Ibuki's Ultra 2 is so awesome!!!

i thought Dee-Jay would have fast recover from his Max-Outs but man Ibuki nailed him twice

Cody's too fucking safe and he deals good damage and he can even FADC to ultra.

Basically, Cody's the new better Ryu.

will probably keep guile as my main, even though he hasn't gotten the buffs he needed. sonic hurricane's quick startup should make it more useful than his functionally nonexistent u1 -- hope it's easier to land off supers and antiair fks. will also stick with abel and dan. probably won't play much ryu if his srks aren't reliable antiair -- they already traded too often. of the new characters i'll definitely try deejay because of his similarity to guile, and makoto and cody because i like their designs.

EX Snake Strikes doesn't do ultra damage anymore. Ultra II looks kind of worthless, but who cares when Ultra I is so damn good anyway. I also read at one point the Jesus Kick didn't have as many invincible frames on startup, but I don't know if that was true.

Bisons Ultra II looks hella good. Especially against projectile characters. Besides that I'm not really sure on his changes.

one more thing, when you select the 'rival' theme songs in the menu, does that work online too? really the one thing i didn't like about 4 was the music, but this new feature looks like it will correct it, but im not sure if it's for offline play only
