Ahh well that isn't to oddball of a size if you have some craft stores around. The Moss Mononoke print is the one I'm having a hard time with and with the rest of the collection the same size they all 3 will have to match when I collect them all. I'm going with this Amazon one I'll post a pic for you guys when I get it done.

For fans of the Pikmin print, the artist -- Bobby O'Herlihy -- is working on a Zelda print too (though it won't be released through me. Not sure if it's a private commission or a commercial piece yet).

Here's a rough of what he's doing:

The mondo blog posted this concept from the “THE IRON GIANT” by Laurent Durieux, sounds like they have a awesome show opening with a lot of concept art. Wish I lived nearby, I'll be in Dallas this weekend but sadly for only a few days and it's all filled with work junk =(

I've got some questions about framing and figured I'd ask here. I've got a poster with some signatures on it that I'd like to frame. Will any old frame do or should I get one that's acid-free? I know very little about this stuff and a friend just happened to mention that, although I didn't have enough time to get a further explanation as to what I meant. I don't want the signatures to get eaten away at over time.

Acid Free refers to the backing, so it doesn't particularly make a difference for items that are signed or not. With that said Acid Free is better in every case, it can prevent discoloration and will keep the paper from becoming brittle (talking about over years and years)

Ah, thanks. Just from doing a quick Google search for sites that sell frames, it seems like having the option for an acid free backing is expensive. I didn't want to spend this much but I guess it is worth it to help preserve the poster.

Acid free backing shouldn't add that much.

UV glass is usually the big price jump when framing along with double / triple mattes

I've only professionally framed 1 print ever though getting ready to do a few myself. You should be able to find acid free backing board at a craft/art store and cut to size for the back of your frame you pick out. That's what I'm planning on doing. Not sure if that sounds easier than it is but worth a shot might be cheaper.

That Pikmin print is gorgeous. Arggghhh. Oh well, hopefully there is a little price drop between now and its release (or a bundle) so I don't continue to kick myself over waiting and missing out on that.

Oh my god out of all the days I have to travel this week for work it's tomorrow. SOB that cargo print is amazing. FML I'll try and get it from my ipad but that is going to be next to impossible with the popularity of LOTR.

Yeah, all of these sites I'm going to always have the UV glass with the acid-free backing. I can't seem to just get the backing.

I was able to score two of the precious cargos! One for my house and one for my sister.
I got my Jaws in the mail this past week and man does it look good in person.

I've got some bad news for you man.. :(

I kinda wanted Precious Cargo to go alongside my Moss print but I couldn't justify the expense. I still have so many prints to get framed..
