Very nice, but also kind of boring, for Eng that is. It doesn't look like it was made while on acid at all.

Also, Mockingbird, where's that Zelda print? You made me take pictures of stuff! GIMME DA ZELDA PRINT!

haha. I open up sales on the site at 6 pm Pacific. If you're looking to combine shipping with orders #1 and #2 that I've held for you (international orders) just pm me which prints you want this go around and I'll send an invoice without the shipping.

I still have a few copies of the Mario Kart inspired piece, Summit left over as well. So if you want that added to your order pm me (don't go through bigcartel).

I think Eng's stuff is usually hideous so I really like that Oblivion piece. The whole vinyl package for it is really great.

I hope I can get the RSD version of the Drive vinyl. If that happens, I'll have a standard edition for sale.. shame about their weird shipping issues. I'm glad there will be some available for us folks in Austin though.

Ah, yes. I forgot about that one.

Would be nice to see more gaming prints in general. Glad to see that the Bottleneck artists do a fair amount of some. I would personally like to see some done from the Halo universe. I just feel like there's great potential there with the different environments.

Up now =)

Amazing! Just amazing. Please put up some pictures after you frame and hang them. One day I would love to get them all as well.

Congrats man, these are fantastic. Would love to own these someday but for now I will try to settle for the Perillo trilogy.
As others said, don't forget to post in here after you frame them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Return_of_the_jedi#Title_Changed_from_.22Revenge.22_to_.22Return.22

The original teaser trailer for the film carried the name Revenge of the Jedi. [19] In December 1982 Lucas decided that “Revenge” was not appropriate and returned to his original title. However, by that time thousands of "Revenge" teaser posters (with artwork by Drew Struzan) had been printed and distributed. (Note that the poster reverses the correct color of the light sabers; Luke is seen wielding a red lightsaber while Vader wields a blue one.[20] Lucasfilm stopped the shipping of the posters and sold the remaining stock of 6,800 posters to Star Wars fan club members for $9.50.[21] These posters now sell for $250 – $500 depending on condition. (Bootlegs of these posters exist and can be differentiated.)[22]
The 2005 prequel trilogy film Revenge of the Sith later alluded to the dismissed title of Revenge of the Jedi.[23]

If anyone was big on that Tom Whalen Autobot Invitational from the other week, the Decepticon companion piece is up.

Regular:

Variant:
http://www.acidfreegallery.com/decepticon-air-show-variant-colors-by-tom-whalen/

Feels to me like the variant/regular designations should be the other way around given the colouring of the last set, but hey. Whatever.

I thought about it, but I'm going to pass.

I feel the opposite for this one, it's regular over variant for me.

I don't want to be one of those guys, but can someone please explain to me why everyone is so crazy for Stout?

I mean, there's a lot to be said for his compositions, which I think are truly excellent (as shown in the SW prints above) and I really like that aspect of his work; but I'm fairly certain dude is just screen-capping from movies/trailers and bringing that into Photoshop (or whatever program) to either trace or copy directly from. That really kills a lot of the appeal of his work for me.

Again, not trying to be a troll because I know people really like his stuff, and of course good art is not an objective thing, I just need to understand why his work is so revered and these prints are fetching ridiculous prices in the aftermarket. Someone enlighten me, please.
