Today was pure luck, I have the day off, so I was secretly hoping for a random drop today, but I ended up playing games all day. Stopped to come check twitter and about 2 minutes later the c4c on P&T went off. I scrambled but couldn't get signed in, over and over I tried. Finally i gave up and tried checking out with no account, only to find I couldn't log into PayPal now! After 2-3 attempts at that I realized: My CAPS LOCK was on.

Cripes.

I ended up checking out a full 3 minutes after they went up, and thought "There's no way I scored." and waited for a refund email, but none came!!!

Nice, congrats! I don't think I was anywhere near a computer or phone when they dropped unfortunately.

Looks like I'm gonna have to sell off some stuff to get one, and I prefer the variant. There's some ridiculous trade offers at EB, that don't seem to be shaking any loose. Crazy.

I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned before but on Netflix Instant View you can watch the documentary "Just Like Being There" which is all about gig posters. A ton of artist that do movie prints like Tong, Danger and printing companies like D&L are interviewed. It shows equipment and processes for making screen prints and a lot of insight to history of gig posters etc. I just stumbled upon it this morning really interesting if your interested in the hobby. But be warned you will see prints you want and you will spend more money on prints.

I finally just finished watching it, was interrupted yesterday about half way through. Didn't realize Stout, Moss and Struzan made appearances as well to many others to mention but really enjoyed it. The artist views on flipping is very interesting when Tong was talking about it he was genuinely annoyed.

It's basically my grails all in one pile. Akira is there too. I think Akira was rolled way too tightly, since it still doesn't lay 100% flat. Got some real weight on top now though.

In other news. I'm thinking about turning my flat file into a functional piece of furniture in the coming weeks. If I ever get the ball rolling, I will take some progress pics.

Wow that would be my grail pile as well amazing 4 prints. Hopefully someday I can grace my walls with them although I'd settle for regs on the Star Wars. Congrats!! Nice haul!

It's pretty nice to not have any aftermarket ISOs. Those were pretty much it for "the big ones". Will be nice to focus on framing for a while (lol).

Finally the replacement showed up.

They replied and said the plexi replacements must've gotten lost by fedex. (they forgot)

So they sent a new replacement.

For one frame. God damnit. So still waiting on my bigger frame for my Harbinger print. GF bought it as a birthday present (10/25) and it looks like it won't be up until then at this rate.

To their credit! IF they shipped separately their packing was top notch. But it's like... a month after ordering and I'm still waiting on shit. So there's that.

I see they were assuring the EB forum they have worked on the issue with the company who handles their servers, the last mess up was due to some paypal coding issue. It's a beautiful print but those phantom eyes would freak my wife out if I hung it.
