I'm excited to see the SotD, the Attack the Block is still reasonable out there and I've debated grabbing it a few times. I may have to get it and put it up next to SotD if I end up keeping it. Looks amazing from the pictures, this is my first Stout as well.

Yeah, Attack the Block is so great. I picked Drive when I won the lottery and went back to grab the Block regular when I saw that Tyler gave everyone a second chance for the leftovers. It sold out as I was making my way through PayPal and I felt sadness.
Ugh. Congrats! So jealous! This is the first Stout that I have really really wanted since I started this hobby.
I still love my Attack the Block, but SotD is one of my favorite movies ever. I'll most likely end up paying for the variant sometime here in the future.
Get it sooner than later. Even with the high run, I think this one will become pretty valuable somewhat quickly.

I stupidly checked out the movie the day after his lotto. Didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. Same reason I didn't buy any Pacific Rim prints yet because I have yet to see the movie.
So I just did a second order from Bottleneck because I ended up deciding to complete a set. I already sent them an email asking to combine orders for shipping, but then I was wondering if they could give me the same numbers on the set prints. Do they do those types of requests? I thought I remember some people discussing that here, but I couldn't remember if it was for a different gallery.
Edit: They replied and said that they always try to give matching numbers when people order sets. <3

Well that doesn't seem horrible for a custom job, are they using a stock frame and just matting, how elaborate is it going to be? That's a common size frame you could do it yourself if your just throwing it in with no mats etc.
Nah, we don´t have frames in 24x36 here in Sweden, so she will have to customize it for me.
No matting tho...

Amazon has 5x5 frames from Craig Frames. I bought it for my Pokemon print and it fits perfectly. No mat tho. I don't care about that.

Anyone here knows a bit about framing? As I said before, my framer is a very nice guy that has been in the business for about 40 years but unfortunately he has no idea what a spacer is. May be simply a language barrier issue.

I actually removed one from the frame to put some pics. There is no taping involved. It's just the frame, the print inside and then the glass.

The Ikea frames have a big matte. The actual size of the frame is quite a bit bigger than the 5x5 window. I like em but they're *very* deep as a word of warning.

That may be the case with certain kind of prints like lithos, perhaps, but with screen prints, it's pretty important to try to keep it off the glass if you want to conserve it. I didn't do that on my 13 assassin's print, and haven't seen any problems, but it's more about a longevity vs. environment type issue.

I used the IKEA frame and it does come with matting that is quite big so it you can easily cheat the photo into position. If I remember correctly, there's a bit more vertically that's covered by the matting than horizontally but the frame's matting makes it look perfect.
The frame is more of a window box so you have to take the depth of the frame into consideration too. I like having all that space between the glass and print, but not everyone will like that.
So went to Michaels today just to get some plexi and foam board to frame up something and saw these for the Moss Heroes/Villains. It's a 8x8 with a double mat for the 5x5. Took a few pictures so you guys to see the backing etc. The best thing is they are on sale BOGO this week. Total with tax for two of them was about $18. Going back tomorrow to grab two more that will get most of what I want framed right now. Put a small piece of linen archival tape to hold it to the mat and a small piece of tissue paper behind the print to keep it off the backing. No way to use foam board on this one have to use their backing.
No Blind Box(es) yet for me. I hope they come in tomorrow so I can at least inspect them/take pictures. I'm heading to Seattle on Sunday and won't be back until Saturday. If they don't come in tomorrow, it'll be even worse if they come in the week I'm gone and I won't be able to see what I got/start trading.

Was also thinking after taking it apart the bottom mat wouldn't be very difficult to take off and get a new one in a different color. Might try that as well mat board that small is really cheap. I went back this afternoon and picked up 2 more so will get them framed tomorrow or later tonight now.
I was actually planning to snipe that, but backed out when I saw two other people doing the same (a bit too early..which one of you did it at like 2:30 to go instead of at like 30 secs to go?) and backed off

I respect that you know how sniping works. Sellers will start the bidding on something with no reserve, and then people with no sense will inflate the price for everyone by bidding in the days leading up to the auction being over, or doing so with an hour to go as if no one else is going to notice. There's always going to be someone coming in at 8 seconds left, and the people coming in at 30 seconds are completely oblivious to this fact.
At least they aren't the guys putting up the Spirited Away regular editions for $200-$300 over and over with no bids and then rejecting all offers though. Those guys are the worst.

yea, i usually have a max price in mind and if i plan on sniping, i'll use that amount and if i don't win then so be it. it prevents me from paying more than i want for something. it was less than the BINs on eBay right now so i'm happy. ^^
The people fighting each other over Tingle made me laugh. It probably would have went for half as much if everyone had just waited, but no. The same goes for the Aerith that's currently in the low 100's with almost two days left to go.
Everyone should do this.

Noticed that to, it was one of the ones I almost bought. If anyone missed it you can get a copy from Kim directly but the stuff at the show was higher quality, numbered and stamped. She has some other amazing stuff though.
