Well, I'm not outraged, just sad really especially since he said those of us who got orders in would be given a secret link and now he is seemingly saying otherwise. That seems like it would have been the most fair course of action but such is life.

Are you getting that from his tweets, or are you actually seeing a secret link? The tweets are confusing on the issue of whether or not he's doing that. If he is, I've been punished for not going through with buying Howl's. C'est la vie.

Well damn. That went up early and I wasn't logged into Paypal. Also had to clear an old Howl's from my cart. Missed it, oh well. Note to self: always fully clear my cart after failed purchases, and always stay logged into Paypal ; )
I think there was about 6 Spirited Away left before he went live with everyone else.
MAN WHAT THE FUCK! He sends out an email and says it'll be private for 30 minutes. I pull up the email on my phone and click the link and everything is sold out. Not only did he tweet the link 16 minutes after sending the email (so much for 30 minutes), it was 49 minutes earlier than he said it would be.
I don't think anything is going Olly's way today between the links being swapped and gmail taking its sweet time to send out the e-mails. I'm sure a lot of people figured they had made the purchase and went out for the day, only to find out that they'd been refunded and missed their chance.
Things happen =/ If I had gone through with the Howl's order I didn't want, I'd probably have a Spirited artist proof ordered right now.

Nope, I went to lunch planning to get back by 1 PM my time. My PayPal email is attached to my email from like 16 years ago so I had to pulled up on my desktop (the webmail) and had been refreshing. I checked it on my phone and saw the subject and was like oh cool, no problem. Then I go to order and it's all gone. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I got bit the same way. Went out to lunch because I figured I had time, got back saw the email, saw I had received it 15 minutes ago, figured "cool, I've got time", and clicked around to find out everything was sold out.
Apparently, he did wait 30 minutes, but gmail took a while to send so many emails out.

I have a deathly fear of ghosts/spirits so it's a no go for me. Shame since the print is gorgeous.
I saw it less from the "ghost/spirit" angle and more from the "doctor manhattan/transcendent energy being" angle.

I'm in like total frame mode right now. I want to get a bunch more framed before I do the wall tour. Moving into a house that's like 3x the size of my old place means I have lots of walls to fill

Always imagined pictures of people's collections would consist of a lot of flatfiles.
I'll start hanging stuff up as soon as I find a good framer. Last one I went to quoted me a price of over $500 for something 24x36. Frame's weren't even that awe-inspiring.
