So is it just that the line work is too fine on the Paprika that it can't be screen printed? I don't really know enough about the process.
The problem with the fine linework is that it's used to enclose colors within the space. The line is too thin to be able to trap the colors within the space.
Using a fine line in screenprinting is ok, but you'll notice it's not used to divide colors, so there is a risk of registration error.
But I went to another printer yesterday and he says he thinks he can do it. So it looks like it's back on. He's actually going to do a proof for me first.
The plan right now is for it to be an 8 color screenprint on coventry rag 320 gsm paper. With either a varnish finish or an iridescent red/blue finish. Maybe both.
There will be a 1 color line art variant available as well. It might have a varnish finish as well. Price for this will be $14.
Invoices going out late this week.
If you want to add a line art variant. let me know. I think I have 5 people.
----------------------
Kiki invoices will go out along with the Paprika ones.

Metal Gear ones will go out as soon as I hear back from the printer. Waiting on paper.

For all commissioned pieces, there will be no other editions. No aps, no pps, no htgs. No second editions. The copies given to the artists and printers are part of the regular numbered run. With that said, sometimes a printer might overprint a few just to be safe, so the edition sizes are tentatively +/- 5, but will be exactly correct after the numbering process.
