For me, I slowed down when that happened and have become more selective with what I buy. I skipped out on some timed editions, the Distant Land stuff and I think everything that's dropped on Mondo this year so far. Matter of fact, I probably need to sell a few prints.

Private commission would be like the Metal Gear and Ico prints we had done. An individual or group of people pay to have an artist do an illustration and have it printed up.

Totally. I just think Taylor has the ability to be a great artist, and I like that he's branched out into comics, drawing an issue of Ales Kot's Zero (one of my favorite comic joints), but his prints always bum me out, because I just feel like there's usually too much nothing in them, and not enough of a strong central image. I hesitate to say his work comes off as lazy, because I want to like him, but his recent output has felt quite weak. Especially that Sex Criminals print.

I like his Brick, though. That's what got me interested in him.

That 3/4" ended up costing me a bundle, but this one is good enough to warrant some extra care.
That said, I'm completely out of wall space and it would have been nice to have standard size posters you can rotate in and out in the same frames. But I'm a Horkey collector, so I have a pile of custom frames leaned up against the wall in the spare bedroom instead.

Some of these posters are so awesome! I wish I had more room on my walls so that I could buy them. I have too many concert posters on my walls right now. Maybe when I buy a house, I'll buy some more prints for the television room.
