Or in other words, I want to know why you think it's the same person and not someone else using the same nickname. For all I know he might have said so here, but I guess that did not happen, so please enlighten me why you are sure that it's him.

Evilore at OA posting nudes 11 years ago is the same person who is running NeoGAF now. There have been photos of Evilore going that far back.

GAF used to be a lot smaller a decade ago so there was a lot of cross-forum posting. Evilore travelling Europe a few years ago and chronicling his adventures for everyone to read at GAF even visited old members of the same OA forum, posed for photos, reminisced about the good ol days. No impersonation. No confusion. Same guy.

With that said, nothing revealed in the last few days really changed my opinion of the man. He was always arrogant yet awkward which led to the many weird situations/posts brought up in this thread. I accepted it then and I accept it now. I understand some of that info is still shocking to many people and thus they're packing their bags.

Staying up late into the night just trying to figure out if we could even fit the whole thing and then the insanity of the next morning when we posted it. It was a moment that I think defined how you always saw this place and why it was so beloved by its members. It makes me sad to think how different things are now. I truly hope that the site is able to go back to its roots, that something can be gained from everything that has transpired but I know it will do so without me being a part of it. I will always miss it and to all the members staying I wish you guys the best of luck. Thanks for giving me a creative outlet and a safe haven when we all needed it.

What I never understood about the most extreme people om the left in OT was that they never said: I may disagree with what you are saying, but I will defend with my life your right to say it. In other words, agree to disagree and still be friends, although with different viewpoints.

Sad to see Gaf turn to this. I came here for the games but ended up reading the OT and from time to time could find good stuff there.

Recently it seemed that everybody is at each others throats. The world is a mad fucking place and this place ended up becoming a place I didn't like to visit as I know some of my opinions are not popular....
