YoooooooooooooAlso,
I just hit level 25 and I'm only at the story mission whereI feel like I've pretty much run out of stuff to do except the last main story mission and a bunch of Gwent quests. I'm only level 24. Is that normal? Or have I missed a lot? I'm hearing about people being level 70 but I just don't see how that's possible?

Did you do all question marks on both huge maps? That helps. I did all of them in Velen/Novigrad before I moved on and I still have around 125 left in Skellige to do lol
That is the reported (soft?) cap, but you will not get much further than 35 in one playthroughI feel like I've pretty much run out of stuff to do except the last main story mission and a bunch of Gwent quests. No clue. Been on BBB from beginning.I was on the normal difficulty setting, does ramping it up to Death March improve xp?
Am I close to the end of the game?
It definitely peaks with the Baron quest...but I wouldn't say it nosedives after that.

It's not. It's practically impossible to get above level 39/40, even if you do everything because the highest quest (which there is only one) is set at level 35.I'm hearing about people being level 70 but I just don't see how that's possible?
Witcher 3 is one of those games, who on screens it doesn't look particular great (without some of mods or editing), but in motion, when you play the game self, is fucking gorgeous
I'm too making ton of screens, because at that moment the game is just looking fantastic, but then I look at (some) of those screens, and I'm "hmmm.. this doesn't look as good as it looked directly in the game"
Does the game get more interesting after you leave White Orchard and meet that girl friend of yours? So far the main starting game area has been really dry... PS4 version here if that makes a difference.
Hey guys.... I have a question. There is any kind of storage system like.... Diablo 2 or 3, like a chest or something? My inventory is full of books and notes.. its annoying.

I hope for the DLC/expansion, they allow us to buy property
I want my own home, and I want to decorate it!

I did all the question mark quests in the main starting area and yeah...not sure I want to keep going if its just going to be more of the same.
Just finished the Game, and wow, what a ride. Awesome Story. Definitely my favorite RPG so far. Got a cool ending whereCiri becomes a Witcher like Gerald.
I romanced Triss and moved with her to Kovir, so can anybody tell me what happens with Yennefer after you finished the game? Didn't get a Shortstory for her future.

Depending on what happens during the war, it can be infered that Yenneferbecomes Emhyrs(or Ciri's depending on what ending you get)mage advisor. She states throughout the game that her reward for helping Emhyr is a high level position in the Imperial Court.
ending spoilerYen apparently goes serving Emhyr. if you choose Yen, Geralt and Yen retire and spend time together in Kaer Morhen, doing nothing.
Geralt having a home makes absolutely no sense neither in context nor with his character.

Wasn't the XP-bug supposed to be fixed, or is that still somewhere in the future? Just did thequest in my second playthrough and didn't get any XP. Kind of annoying when you're playing on death march.Letho
That would cheapen and negate the point of having consequences in the first place. There really needs to be a warning that if you do a certain quest it will fail another. Luckly I had a older save so I didn't failThe Cave of Dreams.
But he does have a home, Kaer Morhen, and in that home each witcher has a bed in the common room. A bed with a chest next to it. There's your lore-friendly storage feature right there!Geralt having a home makes absolutely no sense neither in context nor with his character.
Maybe a hint or something then? I get your point that a warning would spoil a quest. That would cheapen and negate the point of having consequences in the first place.
Granted, that specific situation is impossible to predict and doesn't need to be designed that way, but that's no reason to destroy the importance of choice and consequence throughout the whole game.
Playing gwent tournaments and talking on quests to find old lady's pans doesn't fit with the urgency of the story either.
Besides, Geralt could rent a dwelling to use as storage not necessarily a home, there's nothing out of character with that.
Also any kind of persistent storage system doesn't make logical sense (they could use magic to explain it I guess).
It's surprising a character like Geralt doesn't have lock ups scattered about.
Bought this game I don't know how many months ago but I'm finally going to be able to start it up.
Few questions though.
Does this game have a Dragon Age keep like options for setting up previous game decisions? I don't have any old save files.
What are optimal settings for a 980GTX? I want as consistent 60 FPS as possible.

Lol @ the monster's nest exploit. Time to rack up some sea shells again.

Level 13 and I still have to go for the first time in Novigrad.
I start to feel OP.
I'm undecided between switching to Death March or fighitng without any armor piece, naked.
He could have pre-ordered.The game has been out for less than a month, so probably not that many months ago.
Just finished it and i guess i got the bad ending

Darn us for trying to be overprotective.
On Death March, at level 15 and pretty current gear, I can still sometimes almost die from level 9 drowners if I get sloppy. Even level 5 wolves + level 8 dire wolf can sometimes get me to half health if they get a good combo on me. A particular fight against a lot of humans in Novigrad in a tight space had me dying pretty quickly when they comboed me one after another. Basically, you can't play lazy at these 'early' levels on Death March.
