I refuse to believe they won't eventually release it digitally lol
Man, Novigrad is just way too big for me. I love the fact that they built a city so huge that still feels so alive and organic, but I can't deal with how large it is. It's my next big area to really go through and I'm putting it off because there just aren't enough hours after work to do it all in one go, it's going to take so many hours to systematically go through every alley and check every door... Time to "work from home" tomorrow!
I wish the experience gains were more consistent. Got to Novigraad and jumped up 3 levels by doing the basic story quests. That's just too much too soon. The enemies are still level 10-12 and now I'm 15. (playing on hard)
So it's correct to say that beating mosnters too high of a rank to you won't give much XP? I know the other night I killed a level 30 Vampire when I was rank 13 and only got 22 XP.
Did all the quests and POI's then thoroughly exlored every area I could get to. I don't think I left a door unopened. Probably would have taken half as much time on lower difficulties but even packs of wolves were tough let alone monsters. Once I leveled up and got some gear it got easier. Grinding to level up a few levels against non quest enemies took a while but it was worth it. Game did not get easier despite being higher level than I was "supposed" to be.u wot
How is that even possible?
The final monster does not always appear. I have not met a single final monster with ghoul nests. With those exploding assholes, I sometimes get a devourer at the end.Monsters don't give any/much exp at all, unless you're doing a Witcher Contract, in which case it's a high-paying quest rather than a monster kill.
However, I've noticed that if you destroy a Monster Nest (usually under a white question mark) you get 25xp, then a final monster will jump out of the next. Kill this monster, and you get 75xp. That's a really good return as far as monster killing goes.
The only pre-order Bonus was a 10% discount, so you don't lose anything
I feel it's the best open world games I've ever played, yes. Surpassing RDR.
RDR2 might retake the crown though. Or maybe MGSV?
So is it the best open-world game on consoles yet? Has Rockstar been surpassed?
FYI, his name is a Kill Bill reference. I don't think I've seen anyone get this yet (but obviously lots of people will).

There's not a chance in hell MGSV is going to have even a fraction of the content W3 does, regardless of how big or impressive the world ends up being.
So did I, and neither did I. 7 hours for me... I guess you're gonna get your moneys worth anyway.Did all the quests and POI's then thoroughly exlored every area I could get to. I don't think I left a door unopened.
Kill Bill has a swordsmith character that's a reference to characters in asian cinema who are a reference to the real-life person.Never watches Kill Bill I thought it was a simple reference to the legendary Ninja
So I have put in close to 4 1/2 hours over the last two nights and still have not hit level 4. I was level 3 already. I am getting skill points... But have no idea how to get xp.
I like how most bandit camps and guarded treasure spots usually have a letter of some sort that provides context to why there's bandits or treasure there in the first place. It's slight, but man, talk about attention to detail.
Quests are the primary source for xp

u wotSo main story quests? Not seeing very many quests. I just got to the part where I had to talk to the inn keeper about someone and the guys tried to fight me. I had an option to buy them a drink

Kaer Morhen spoilers:
When can I give Triss her earring back? I found it after Yen threw the bed out the window. Worried about missing the moment.
Has anyone worked out what the deal is with the skill that's supposed to reduce damage taken when dodging? I have it maxed so that I shouldn't take any damage but it doesn't work.
u wot
Playing the combat tutorial took you 4 hours?
Cool, good to hear on the quest side. I enjoy the higher difficulty but I don't want to be artificially held back via reduced quest XP gains.
So, hammer, how do I read the proper Witcher books? It sounds like I may have read the old, edited versions.
I tried to check, and from what I found the newer short stories are not available in English yet.
So just read the seven "normal" books, and make mental notes of things that don´t make too much sense, like f.i. (The Last Wish spoiler).what exactly was the third and last wish, as that's the beginning of how Geralt and Yen get bound to each other
Is there any reason to explore the cave with Keira before entering the portal? Any loot?

Am I the only one who thinks Triss looks a bit... odd...? She's obviously gorgeous, but I still can't shake the feeling that she looks really cartoony compared to all other characters, and I'm not only talking about the hair.
You'll see her later, can't miss it. But where did you find an earring?
