The plot twist about the Geathjerk being oppressed and wanting to save their species in the future is way better than most bad guy motivations in video games. Heck, it even serves as a hypothetical moral dilemma. I actually felt really bad destroying them, haha.
Go near it, draw the biggest weapon of choice (sword and whip have bigger range) and attack the face. It is waaaay quicker than using the gun. You can start with a B + A attack that will put you in line with its face and from there multi morph your way through. If it attacks the tower you can use Unite Guts to stop it from damaging it. I guess you can also block the laser with your sword. When the plates from its face brake you are going to have to use the whip. Follow the prompts on the screen on the QTE. ???????. Profit!
They really did I don't blame him though. I though you could use touch screen for that part too but apparently you had to use R-stick.
I feel like I suck but let me ask this anyway. How the hell does Unite Build work in this part. I can get the dudes in like this but couldn't figure it out further. Tried to press all kinds of buttons after getting them in too but no luck.

Direct them all into the empty eye socket and they'll fill it up, then you may need to tap the right stick toward it a few more times as for some reason one always seems to linger and not join the others. I think you also need to ensure you collect all the soldiers until that point to have enough citizens to create a new WONDER EYE.
I was stuck here too, I think there's a problem. Direct them all into the socket and they'll fill it up, then you may need to tap the stick to direct them a few more times as for some reason one always seems to linger and not join the others.
I just can't get it to work. Kind of irritating because the asshole snake won't quit attacking you while you try either.
There's some parts where you notice that they had to hurry to get this game out. Wouldn't been all that bad to delay it little further in my opinion. Yeah maybe I'll replay the part. Could be that I'm missing citizens indeed.

When I did that there were a few who stayed over to the left so I had to tap the stick a couple times to get everyone in. The only time the game has been even remotely like Pikmin apart from the big blue jelly things having a slight Pikmin vibe, though I am only a stage or two past that boss.
Switch the region between Europe and North America. If the number of posters stays the same, it's a global or multi-region community. Some communities are regional, some are multi-region, some are global. I've not seen any Japanese posts in the W101 community so far, so that one doesn't seem to be global.

The Wonderful 101 is a fist bump of awesomeness, a valiatium blade coated in sensational ideas, delivered with piercing accuracy straight into your heart. The initial sting is extremely painful, and may deter many, but those who endure it will be handsomely rewarded. The Wonderful 101 provides a powerful punch when necessary, or a playful tickle under the armpit when required. Funny, distinctive and typically Platinum, The Wonderful 101 is simply marvellous.
Just played through operation 2. this game man, this game!! Took tons of danage at the boss before I could figure him out, but man the boss fight in Platinum games sure are something else! I am really looking forward to Bayonetta 2 because of this game now.
I might suck hard at the game, but it's an awesome rollercoaster of insane action and fun. I mean even
that second boss had it's own kind of transformation sequence.
I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot. So glad I bought this.
It blocks the fists, yes, but the timings has to be right, if you press too soon you will be hit. When it moves to the top of the tower to stomp on it it also works. If you do it correctly the robot will lose its balance and you will have an opportunity to attack freely for a period of time. It also block the rocks it throws and deflects them back to it. But yes, pure platinum is going to be difficult.
reposting what i said from earlier.
every time someones face pops up, or they yell something you just need to equip that persons weapon.
if you equip it fast enough, it will trigger something.
Once i figured this out, i realised it works on all the bosses, i missed out on a lot of cool cutscenes .
It made the game so much better for me.
i went back to lambo/2 headed boss....it all made sense.
almost every attack has a counter, if not then it's avoidable.
once you know what to do, it's not as hard.
Oh man, I just finished 6-B, it took forever but what a level.
Dat prologue chapter that has all those pseudo-futuristic WW2 stuff like the B-52 style bomber plane and P-Star being an old fashioned TV
Also Nelson in the past, amazing, please tell me you can unlock him and unite drill
Just remembered that the level also had a shmup segment in there, complete with the boss death just being a load of explosions on the un-animated boss, brilliant
That was a great level, kinda wish we'd get a prequel to this game now, based on the stuff in the level, that would be great.

Urgh, I'm probably missing something really obvious, but on 2-C when
The boss starts shooting the tower with bullets, what do you have to do to block it? None of the unite morphs I have right now seem to be doing anything to prevent the boss from damaging the tower, and it keeps breaking.
Jeez...I get the feeling that I'm not even getting 10% out if the game. There's so much more I can do, watching the playthough, that I'm deep ashamed of my own skills :/
Playing on very easy now but I still suck. I wanna get good at this game ( love it tbh ) but most of the time there so much happening on screen that I just can't keep track.

I have the same feeling but I'm just enjoying the ride. Just do that the first time and when its over start it again with more experience. I'd rather have the feeling Im not getting the full experience, than being burned out on it before I even finish it.
Just paused the game because I'm about to be catched up by a WAVE OF DOOM for being too slow because I'm carrying an enemy weapon, but I can't for the life of me remember HOW you drop it. So despite my slim chance of survival, I'm asking you guys. How do you do that ?

Ack! Finally felt confident to move beyond 1A and promptly got Plastic on first part. Humiliating! Never give up! Sometimes when doing a morph attack you directly jump to an enemy. That happens when you successfully staggered it, correct? Or when else?

So I finally finished the entire first operation / chapter. And holy shit at that boss fight! That was straight up Bayonetta-awesomeness. It just kept going and going, didn't expect it to be so hardcore. The looks of this game are deceiving, not that anyone doubted that.
Can't wait to start chapter 2, will do that right now.
