I hope the creative director of Donkey Konga plays this and realizes what a fucking crime it is that that game is mostly filled up with public domain garbage.

The Japanese game wasn't filled with public domain garbage was it? I thought it had a ton of content that was cut for the localized version?

Probably bi-weekly or something. I think that might've been the pace they've been doing it in Japan (it's certainly not a weekly thing, yet it's more often that once a month or something).

I don't know. I only played the American version that was positively brimming with public domain garbage.

Theatrhythm Kingdom Hearts would be a logical choice since the art style came from a Kingdom Hearts game in the first place.

The game USED to work? You might have to do a full system reset of all the updates and whatnot, clear it all (to factory settings), and then reinstall all that. One time Resident Evil Revelations stopped working on me almost exactly like you said, getting stuck on saving and whatever (I think that's your problem if I understand correctly), and removing everything on the card and system fixed it. I actually started using a new SD card whenever I was playing RE too.

Hmmm, I only have two final thoughts I can think of

1) Have you tried booting the game with a different SD card?
2) Is there any memory/programs/apps etc. that isn't on the SD card that you can either
a) afford to lose
b) can redownload
(i.e. Remove SD card and Format System Memory?)

Some of the songs really end/fade-out poorly, in my opinion (I've done I through IV so far).

Minor complaint, but it IS a music based game.

Well, I got my copy.
But I won't have a 3DS until the XL comes out(Had a gift card that expires next week, so that's why)

Maybe I can just stare at the box and play music in the background.

I think they should have come up with a different stage type for the classic games to replace the EMS stages, which seem to be meant for the FMV era of Final Fantasy. Maybe a DMS (Dungeon Music Stage) or something? I don't know, just a random thought.

I apologize if this has been asked and answered, but what is the chance of getting a demo on the US store? I am interested in this game, but having never delved deeply in rythym games, would like to try before purchase.

Some more advice being passed on through me:

Rolls off boss loot tables aren't recalculated when a drop is ineligible. So if you have Vivi, say, and a boss's drop list includes orange shards, you have a 33% chance to get NOTHING, instead of a 50% shot at the remaining two.

Maybe listen to the song and tap along to the rhythm as well as the visual. Helps me when row after row of red circles come at me. *Only played the EU demo - eagerly awaiting Friday morning!

Also, I pre-ordered this game at Gamestop, only to have gotten shafted on my pre-order bonus, since it was 'First come first serve'. I was never told this, or I'd have been at the store the moment they opened. I'm thoroughly mad about this. I wanted that stylus, as the DS styluses always dig into my hand when I play these kinds of games.

Crystal farming. Limit breaks can allow you to take down a level 3 boss more than once Per battle.

Among other reasons, I'm sure.

E: Current party for me: Vivi, Zidane, Cloud, Cecil. Odd, considering my favorite FF (VI) isn't represented in my party at all at the moment.

Get at me. Also I find it interesting that since FFIV, every third game (7, 10, 13) has had a sequel or game to expand the story.
