Certainly, no game ever benefits from a story when the developer doesn't care about telling a story.
But I know you were just being an ass and weren't expecting an answer.

More details please. Pretty much any Core/Core 2 Duo should be good enough.Cranzor said:My laptop is pretty old, I was wondering if the specs would be able to run Half-Life 2 okay. Unortunately I think that the plastic itself has yellowed, much like many SNES units.BAW said:I am looking for a way to whiten my Dreamcast again. Through the years, the plastics have taken a sickly yellowish hue. How can I restore them to glorious white? With alcohol maybe? I don't want to use something that will melt the plastic!
The strange thing is that the modem has remained sparkly white like day 1! It looks really out of place now.

Falt said:No way to transfer individual save data to a new 360 (no memory card slot). Only option you have is a full HDD transfer... http://www.xbox.com/en-IE/Live/Transfer. Not 100% sure but I think that the transfer would overwrite the new HDD.

I dunno, maybe half an hour to an hour of content repeated five/six times? It sounds a lot, but once I'd gone through that grind (which I enjoyed, it didn't consciously *feel* like a grind), I was able to play through continually to the good ending; it didn't require any further restarts.teleport between buildings so you don't need to travel through the central plaza
I didn't *quite* save everyone, but I really didn't miss many; I felt I'd ended up feeling satisfied at that point with what I'd done.
Xenogears is definitely worth picking up on PSN! If money is tight that $9.99 will give you some bang for your buck and keep you occupied for awhile. As for other RPGs on PSN... If you've never played Final Fantasy IX, I would recommend picking that up (if not now, then some time in the future).coldvein said:Xenogears on PSN - should i buy it? my money is kinda tight right now, and i just bought a few Transmetropolitan books yesterday so i don't really deserve to treat myself to anything today but i feel a sudden hankering to play Xenogears for the first time. i could just stick with replaying Chrono Trigger forever, mix in some Nier and be happy with RPGs for the time being, but the consumer and gamer in me is saying BUY! BUY! BUY! advise me, gaf.
bonus question: is there an RPG on PSN i should be getting instead?
How long has this been happening to you? I've had the same thing occur to me before, but after a day or two everything synced fine again. Maybe PSN is just having some troubles at the moment.Cornbread78 said:Alright, On my PS3, I can no longer compare trophies with a friend, or synch my trophies list, what is the deal? PC System Requirements
Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE), Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
You might be able to lower the graphical settings to make it run, I don't know for sure. Check out Half-Life 2 on Can You Run It? to check your specific configuration.

What should I spend the remaining 500 on in the meantime? I currently own Bubble Bobble, Kirby's Adventure, and Mega Man II - IV. (I think those are the only things I have that are 500 points.) Suggestions? Virtual Console or WiiWare is fine.

Hold the lever up for about 6 seconds. It actually takes less, but I do it that long just to be sure.Brazil said:How the FUCK do you properly turn off your PSP?

You really have to hold the switch up for some time. Not the best design.Brazil said:How the FUCK do you properly turn off your PSP?

Almost all games for the 360 run in a significantly lower resolution. Upscaling them to 1080P would most likely give them a softer look. It might also be poor image compression. When the game is running at full speed it's a lot more difficult to notice the poor image quality.harriet the spy said:i have asked this question before - but i don't think i got an answer.
Why is it that, in 1080p, the xbox UI is sharp, but all game screenshots are incredibly blurry? Surely MS could afford the bandwidth of slightly higher res pictures, no? Doesn't sound like a good idea for sales. Is it just my setup? My TV is not particularly big, but it's still very obvious how ugly those shots are.

I was saving up for one of the newer Xbox 360s, but since this came up, I'm not sure what to do here. Help me please, GAF.
And thank you in advance!
Yeah, I was thinking that. I believe it's a Falcon, IIRC. I think I might just get a Slim based on that observation.valentine71 said:Falcon was the one that came before Jasper. And Zephyr is the oldest one i think. I mean if it died multiple times, i wouldnt expect anything good from it for a long time but as its free maybe you should get it. So with the money you saved, you may get a PS3 if you don't have one or fuck it all and get a 360 Slim.
