Is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the Vita guaranteed to do ad hoc with people playing on the PSP?
Odd, platinum version possibly has it on the back of the manual?
If that is not the case ring Sony Customer Support in your country. They will probably ask you to email them a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase and give you a new network code.
Looking at your profile you are in Pakistan, they didn't have an online service back in 2010 I believe, so its possible that there is no Network Pass code because you couldn't get online if you wanted to?
Also important to remember that if you imported the game, a Network Pass for the region you imported from would be required, ie if you imported from America, you need an American account and an American Network pass code to work with your game.

Stupid question incomming.
I just beat Oracle of Seasons, and got the code to continue in Oracle of Ages. However, I already did beat Oracle of Ages a few years ago, stupid as I was, I though I could play them in the order I wanted. Now my question is if its worth to do a quick replay of Ages just to get to the stuff that gets unlocked by the code from Seasons. Any views on this? I am a huge Zelda-nerd, but I'm not sure if its worth it if there is almost nothing new.
So here's a pretty stupid question that's been bugging. In all of these emulators, you can force a game to run at resolutions they were never intended to be run at. But with DS emulators, this isn't an option. How come I can't, say, leverage the power of my PC so I can play Phantom Hour Glass (ignoring touch controls) full-screen on my PC? Has it just been that no one has bothered to do this? I know a 2D game blown up would look like ass, and I'm sure the textures of LoZ would be pretty garbage, but the 3D models shouldn't be a problem, right?
No doubt there is a simple answer to this. It's just been sort of bugging. Go easy on me if this is a truly stupid question.
It's the difference between high-level and low-level emulation, I think. I assume whatever DS emulator you're using uses LLE.
HLE is faster, so it's used in most emulators for 3D systems, like Dolphin. It's also less accurate, but that is exactly what allows you to choose higher resolutions and such - because you're not executing the system's exact code, but just something to approximate it, you can intentionally ignore parts of what the game is telling you (like what resolution to go for) and substitute your own choice. LLE is more accurate because it does what it's told exactly, but that leaves no room for alterations.
You get an entirely new final boss, start with 4 hearts and a level 2 sword, iirc. And characters will call you the Hero of Holodrum and make note of your previous quest.

Is "Karnov" considered a classic NES game?

Will GameCube discs fit comfortably in a mini-DVD case, such as this one?
Is there any way to change the thumbnail on my game folder for PS3 digital content?
Play something different? The thumbnail always shows the first game, so if you sort it by "recently played" it will always be what you played last. (if you're talking about the folders in the game tab, that you create yourself)
Why am I so cheap with fictional currency in RPGs? I'm not like this in real-life. Am I compensating for my callous spending in the real world?
I have a Youtube channel that I post a lot of Counterstrike and Age of Empires on to name a few is there anywhere I can show people on Neogaf this or would it just be considered spam? thanks
When it comes to stuff like this it's best to regulate it to the topics it refers to. You can link to it (Especially in those games OTs where it isn't a problem)
Just don't go making threads about every new video post and the like.
I'm thinking of getting my hands on a copy of Demon's Souls, since it's on sale on the European PSN Store, but I have a few questions about the game:
- Assuming the servers are still online, does anyone have any idea of when they'll be taken offline?
Ah yeah thats completely fine - do you think it would be ok to make one post as an introduction and just leave it at that? Thanks for the response btw
Making a post (Depending on the thread) would be fine so long as it fits with the thread itself.
However i'd highly recommend NOT making a thread for your channel once you get member status. Unless the video is something you can base a thread around itself. Self Plugging videos or channels usually doesn't end well here unless it's a big accomplishment.
An example would be the recent F-Zero thread with all the races being beat without boost.

- Assuming the servers are still online, does anyone have any idea of when they'll be taken offline?
- How important is the online component of the game? I have a pretty big backlog and I don't think I'd be able to play the game for at least a couple of months, so there might be a chance the servers will be down by then, I guess.
- Is the game really all that hard? I'm very curious about the game, but I get frustrated easily, so maybe I'm better off getting another game...
Not any time soon.
They were planning on shutting down the servers but changed their mind and decided to keep them up for the forseeable future.
The online component isn't essential, but having some multiplayer interaction really evolves the game from great to fantastic. You can play start to finish in single player and still really enjoy the game, but the PvP in the Souls games are really damned awesome as well as summoning someone and taking down a gigantic monstrous boss together.
It's tough, but you learn it. As long as you aren't the type to continuosly beat your head against a brick wall until you break through you should be fine. Each death is an experience learned which will help you get just that much further.
One key bit of advice - don't rush, because everything can kill you.

Does Minecraft ever go on sale? I've gotten into watching the Ultra Hardcore series that the Mindcrack people do every so often and it's tempting, but not enough to plop $25 on it.
Either build a time machine and buy the Alpha/Beta version or wait for it to appear in a bundle, it was in an Humble Bumble 2 years ago. I haven't seen it go on sale on the actual site though.

Downloaded the PSN version of Vice City over the weekend due to the sale. I was just wondering, are some songs taken out due to license expiry or something? I have yet to hear Billie Jean and played the game for a few hours.
Why is there a box factory on the Big Shell in Metal Gear Solid 2? The Strut E Material Distribution Facility.
The question is why wouldn't there be a box factory. The answer is obvious! Patriots? No, nanomachines.

Guys, something strange's been happening with my PS3. I turned it on using the controller, the console beeped as it was turning on, and then seconds later beeped three times and the red stand-by light kept flashing on and off.
It happened two times, on two different days. On both occasions, I waited for a good ten minutes for the light to stop flashing but it didn't, so I just turned the console off using the big I/O switch on the back. After I turned the switch back on, the console worked fine.
Do any of you have any idea of what could be causing this? Is my PS3 dieing?![]()
