Guys i decided to sell my 3DS, anything i need to know before giving it away?

I have Luigi's Mansion 2 and Fire Emblem as digital downoad, any chance to sell it without losing those?

I mean, if i delete my account there, cc datas and such, will this erase the digital games too?

On Skyrim (PS3) is there any way to zoom out a bit on the 3rd person PoV? It's way too close to the camera and I feel like I'm looking over my guy's shoulder.

Sadly there is no way to keep the games without having them be on a 3DS. If you delete everything then it's all gone forever. One possibility would be if you know someone who has a 3DS or 3DS XL (or 2DS) that they only use as a game cart machine, maybe a younger kid or an adult who doesn't bother connecting it online. If that person has no eShop purchases and doesn't use the online features then there would be no harm in you transferring your entire system data over to them. That would mean your eShop account would exist on their machine, and if you swapped the SD card then they would get your digital download games. The credit card info is not transferred anyway so to go on using the eShop they'd have to add their own CC.

Nintendo's digital is essentially downloaded physical. I'm gonna have a situation soon that wouldn't exist on any other console: I have a shared Wii U at my house that isn't mine, and I made a NNID when I set up my user on there. Then they added NNIDs to 3DS so I linked the same NNID to my 3DS, which has tons of downloaded games. Now I am gonna have to return that shared Wii U, and while I have no downloaded games on it, the NNID is linked and unlike 3DS there is no Wii U to Wii U system transfer. I want to keep my NNID the same on my 3DS and any future Wii U I buy but Nintendo will need physical access to the new Wii U and my 3DS (they'll pay for postage but still). It's a bit ridiculous. On an Xbox or whatever I would just sign out of the old console and sign in on the new one, but Nintendo's accounts basically don't exist outside of the context of being present on a physical console.
 
My stupid question: did anyone else take years to realise the 360 controller flashes the guide button when the battery is low? And does anyone hate that they do it on the controller instead of telling you on the damn screen where your eyes are focused?
 
Not sure if I will get a reply in time but how is the PC version of Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver compared to the PSone version. I ask because GOG is running that time machine sale and its currently on Soul Reaver. Having never played the game, I was wondering whether there is huge difference from both.

Generic bullet decals on both humans and solid surfaces are good enough, I would think. If it's a pivotal scene someone would probably model nicer (or worse? language, pff) looking holes and blood spray and whatnot.
It's probably not worth it to build a more realistic human damage model.

tl;dr All the same reasons anything in games is the way it is.

the graphics are obviously greatly improved. Textures are going to look like shit anyway, but still better than on PSone for sure. Resolution alone will make a gigantic difference.
Not sure how friendly it is for controllers though, but I'm sure the GOG forums have threads on any issues that might have cropped up.

As an aisde: I tried to go back to it a couple of years ago and just couldn't bear the box pushing puzzles and clunky combat a few hours in. I know that's not all there is to it, but I was there for the cutscenes anyway.

I'm about to start playing the 360 version of Zone of the Enders HD, but I hear that the performance sucks. Is it really that bad, and would it be worth trading it in for the PS3 version?
 
Will any wired 3.5 mm headset w/mic work with the DS4? My Tritton Kunai set is starting to crap out on me and I just want to be sure before I blow $50 - $100 on another set.

Edit - NvM. Got some P11 headphones that work via USB. Will do for now.
 
I bought wonderful 101 on amazon and I received the game two days ago and I decided to open it tonight, I noticed the shrink wrap is kinda baggy and a sticker was placed on it saying the game is new but resealed for product placement purposes, I was like whatever.

Before I popped in the game I went for the club Nintendo code, I input it online and I get a " product is already registered " message. Wtf I thought this game was new? I sent the seller a email and asked for a refund or a new game, am I going to get a refund? Never got a faulty product from amazon before so that's why I'm asking.
 
Can a ps3 fry a HD?

I got my replacement ps3 finally ant I pop in my 500 gb HD. It tells me that this software is not compatible and I need to update. I download the update from the Sony site to a USB and run the update. It gets to 18% and the video and controller just dies. I green light on the ps3 is still on so I leave it for a while but I never get the video up again even after restarting the system and trying to start it in safe mode. I put in the HD that came with the unit and that one booted up but I get the same error telling me I need to update. After calling Sony and re downloading the same update I try to update and I get a serious error has occurred, contact technical support, now I can't access anything else. I reset my 500 gb HD and it just hangs again. After another call to technical support the guy tells me I'm out of luck and my HD is fried. I need to buy a new upgradeable hd.
 
Do Wii U games come with physical manuals or only the digital manual? I got The Wonderful 101 a few days ago and there was only the Club Nintendo code and two other pamphlets.

Some games come with it like 3d world, my so called new copy of w101 doesn't come with the manuel just with the pamphlets like yours.
 
Why is it so hard for me to go back and play MGS2 HD on my PS Vita?

I just am pulling my teeth out trying to even get through the tanker... May be a bit off base for the thread, but hot damn.
 
Guys, I won't create a thread for this so: I just got a fat 60gb PS3 (optical drive doesn't work anymore but I'm PS+ so whatever). Can I swap hard drives without having to go through the initializing phase when you start the console for the first time?
 
Help guys... So I've downloaded uncharted 3 from psplus for a 2nd time and again it only shows up in save game data, not in games, not able to play at all? Is there a secret this is the second time,
Also can u just not download single player game file without 10 files of language packs, multiplayer, etc.... This file is a mess
 
Umm simple question, if I buy the World of Warcraft Pandaria Expansion, will I get one month of game-time or would I have to buy new game-time extra? :o My account currently only has the first 3 expansions and no game-time on it. Thanks in advance!

You don't get any game time free with the expansion, but if you've been out of the game for long enough (since March 4th 2012) someone should be able to hit you up with a Scroll of Resurrection to get a free week.

Well that's a bummer but still thanks for the answer! :) Unfortunately I wouldn't be eligible for a Scroll of Resurrection since I used one in early 2013 and to be honest I don't even want to play much but my friends started to play it again and it's a bit jarring to sit each evening with them in Skype while they talk about and play WoW non-stop :P

If I would have gotten free game-time with the expansion I might have bit the bullet but like that I'm not sure since I would need to pay for a realm and faction transfer too... It took me 3 months with 3x EXP boost from the friend-invite program to reach Level 70 on a character back then and going by that I would need 9 months with normal EXP... I'm not doing that... :P
 
Is the PS2 copy of Ico (the PAL rerelease that came out around the time of SotC's release in 2006) incompatible with HDTV's/component cables, or is my game dead?
It seems to be doing the same thing PS1 games do, i.e load up but display no picture, so I'm guessing it's the former, but any knowledge'd be appreciated.
 
Maybe your TV has difficulty handling the low resolution signal. Ico is 224p if I recall correctly. Try hooking up a SCART cable and see if that works.

Right, I assumed it was something like that, but was just making sure. As I said, it was loading up without error, it just wasn't showing anything on the screen. And I'm also not that bothered tbh, as I have the HD collection anyway. I was just trying it to see how far I got on the PS2 version.
 
Would a wireless xbox 360 controller for PC interfere with the signal for a wireless keyboard and mouse if the two "recievers" were a couple of feet apart from each other?

1. Digital triggers only have two states: pressed or not pressed. Analog triggers also register how deep you press them which can be pretty useful in racing games.
2. That's how far you can move the sticks without it being registered as input.
 
How much role do heat / power draw play in how much a GPU can overclock?

If new architectures are supposed to be a lot more power efficient, does that mean they might have more room to overclock (going from a cool, light power draw to a hotter, heavy overclock?)
 
I have a question regarding a price. I have a Mad Catz Marvel Vs. Capcom TE fightstick, barely used, with the original undamaged box. How much would it be worth? I'm thinking of flipping it on Craigslist, I have a tax refund of $270 coming and I need to buy an Xbox One before Titanfall comes out.
 
anybody else having BF3 multilayer glitching on them?? i cant use any guns and exiting the map doesn't help.. i have to quite the game. its getting really annoying lol
 
Thanks for the help guys, I recently started to collect Nintendo games mostly Wii games and wanted to keep them sealed and needed a protective case, got a long way to go to collect them all lol.
