I haven't seen any machines for that, and if it were that then wouldn't the shaking be there for the whole time they're doing it? Right now it only shakes once every so often. so it's not even consistentparrotbeak said:Maybe they're compacting the ground for construction?
MacGurcules said:I've had a poorly balanced washing machine shake enough to feel it on the other side of the house. I imagine if that were the case, you'd probably have figured that out, though.

In fact, the website that I put the mistake in... I've specifically told Chrome not to remember the password for it. It's an autocomplete, but only for the username field.
Schmattakopf said:You selected 'from the beginning of time' and checked 'clear saved passwords' and 'clear Autofill form data'? If you did, then it might not be Chrome. There are programs, like Norton, that also remember Autofill data.

Ah, you're using a Mac. Not that that's an issue; I'm not experienced with troubleshooting them. Have you reinstalled Chrome?FlightOfHeaven said:I was never able to fix this.
Also, there some sort of MacKeeper bullshit on my computer, but I never downloaded anything... and I can't figure out where it's stored. I'm afraid I'll just have to format my computer...

For all intents and purposes, is there any real difference between how a Computer monitor shows the image vs. how a TV shows the image for PC? Other than the physical size, obviously.
You can get prop cigarettes, usually with herbal substitutes for the nicotine and tobacco, but I imagine most actors just tough it out.Maklershed said:Possibly a dumb question but is there such a thing as fake/prop cigarettes? I'm watching Mad Men and everybody smokes but I can't imagine all these actors smoking real cigarettes all the time. With all the scenes and multiple takes the actors would probably make themselves sick or cause a full blown nicotine addictions.
RevDM said:TV's can be more expensive because of the tuner cards installed in them. I don't have enough knowledge to answer your question about showing pictures differently, but I haven't watched a TV in well over a year. I watch everything on my 1080p LED monitor and I have no complaints.

keeblerdrow said:There actually is a large difference in PC monitors and HDTVs, if you're in to that sort of thing. Each type of display device touches up differing color display gamuts. This goes way back to the days of tube TVs and old VGA/EGA monitors and it all gets really technical, but they basically cover different amounts of colors. Monitors tend to cover a wider range of colors and stick to a more vivid spread of colors whereas TVs are actually more reddish and warm in their gamut. The differences between these two types of displays are narrowing and disappearing, but they are still present in most of today's displays.
Ever wonder why some monitors are thousands of dollars compared to their cousins? Well, better parts for one; but those better parts are used to enable a larger color gamut to be displayed. Artists love them some large gamuts.

Not really. Well, aside from using some "Japanese style" bread crumbs on this chicken I just made. I read the back and sure enough, there was a recipe suggesting you cover the chicken in egg. I've been seeing it often, and I wonder what it does. Is it a japanese thing?Sennorin said:Are you cooking Japanese food?

There was a similar thread made a few months ago about the song, not the album. You could probably make the thread and not have people question you (about the thread itself, I mean, not the topic).Jamesfrom818 said:This might actually deserve its own thread but

Not sure if this is it, but try right-clicking on the speaker -> Sounds -> Communications -> Do Nothing.Minamu said:All of a sudden my music on my pc is really quiet, forcing me to up the sound on the speaker itself, which results in movie files etc to be extremely loud. Sound settings are at max in Win7 and in Winamp as well. Afaik, no changes to settings have been made. Granted, my speakers have been acting weird with static coming out when I touch the volume knobbut still. Cables are not loose.
Same mp3 in Winamp is barely audible while it sounds perfectly fine in VLC for instance. The volume bar in Winamp is at max as I said.
Thanks, that didn't work, but I found another menu close by that had lowered winamp only to like 20%. Probably due to Witcher 2. Thank youdragonlife said:Not sure if this is it, but try right-clicking on the speaker -> Sounds -> Communications -> Do Nothing.
Reduced music volume happened to me while playing TF2 and I'd use the mic.

xelios said:Not only a Japanese thing. This is used in foods in the US as well, like chicken fried steak or other things that are breaded before fried or baked, like squash, zucchini, croquettes etc. It's either used to hold everything together or like someone else said to make the breading adhere.
