It would depend on how long it takes him to climax. There are an estimated 3.2 billion women on the planet
If he had a constant stream of women, a new one every 1 minute, it would take him around 6,105 years to impregnate every single one of them.

I might be doing this wrong (I'm not that smart and math isn't my strong suit) but assuming there are 6 billion people in the world and half of the population is women there are 3 billion women. Lets say it takes 1 minute to impregnate a woman.

3,000,000,000 / 60 minutes = 50,000,000 hours

50,000,000 / 24 = 2,083,333 days

20,083,333 / 365 = 5,707 years

Same thing I did, just with 3 billion instead of 3.2
 
Well, assuming just to keep it simple there were 2.5 billion women alive and fertile (13/50 years), that an intercourse would last 5 minutes with no foreplay, no eating, no sleeping, no pause between sessions whatsoever, nothing else but sex for the man... this theoretical marathon would last a bit more than 24,112 years. So, no.

You don't need a full load for one woman though, you could divide it by 5 or something and still get it done.
Not every woman on the planet is fertile.
Subtract the guy's pre-puberty years.
He has to sleep. And eat. And shit and piss.

Actually, just build a jizz distribution machine that automates the whole cumming thing for the guy. Some kind of backpack solution.
 
Why is Battlestar Galactica so.....not good? They keep playing this crap on BBC America even though it isn't a British show and......ugh! Who even are the cylons? They think and talk and act like humans except they're bad? They're machines? Why do they want humans to die? Why is some random character (black hair one) hallucinating and seeing some blonde haired chick when no one else sees her? Why is the camera work so bad? As in, it's like a dead shot of the actors and it feels like I'm 3 inches away from their face. Why does the woman president have a butthurt expression on her face for the whole show? Why is the general guy always so gloomy? Why is the asian chick so pointless? Why when some characters are in ships they're surrounded by blood and guts inside the actual ship? Who flies a ship with blood and guts inside? That's disgusting. Can't they clean it up a little? Again with the camera work, why are all the lights blurry? Why is the music so ominous? Why are the dialogue scenes so boring?

It's a very over-dramatic show made to appeal to a certain audience. If you don't know the context or watch it from the beginning the reactions are going to be exactly like yours. It randomly popped up on Syfy years ago and every time I saw it I thought it was some terrible space drama. Then I watched it from the beginning it was really solid.

There is a point to all those quips that you listed that are explained when put into context. If you care enough to post about it watch it from the beginning. It's only 4 seasons for the arch.
 
URGENT! Please help!!
I changed the computer language to arabic cause my dad had to write a report and word kept changing to english. So on language settings I removed english. Anyway my brother logged off the computer and now I can't log in cause the password is in english!

Please help me!

This was bugging me, so please someone help me. To preface this, english isn't my first language, so if this is very super obvious, sorry.

I saw the BBC Comedy Proms and there was a song about a swan getting DEAD because people are slobs.

It ended with, according to the lyrics I found:

"You'll no doubt have heard how swans refrain from crying
Up until the moment that we find we're dying
Charming but, as you can see, by then it's not much use
Quite apart from which swans aren't responsible, you know,
So what's your excuse?"

Someone explain the fourth line to me. Paraphrase it or word it differently or just make me understand what it's saying. It just looks misphrased and wrong to me. I read it a hundred times, listened to the song again to make sure the lyrics aren't written down incorrectly and they don't seem to be.
 
A backpack question.
I'm planning to buy a new backpack, and I've decided to get a Jansport Hookey.

Problem is, that the notebook pocket size is 36 x 28 x 5 cm (made with 15,4" in mind) and notebook's size is 37,8 x 24,68 x 3,11 cm (15,6").
The pocket looks like this from the inside, and I guess the extra 1,8 cm shouldn't be a problem.
Does anyone have any kind of experience with this kind of stuff?
 
It'll probably be fine, my backpack has the same sized notebook pouch and it has plenty of extra room around the top when I put my 15.4 inch laptop in it.

stupid question inc!
I'm currently sharing an apartment with two other guys (jumped in this apartment like 2 weeks ago)..
They're some nice folk, cheerful and all, i felt welcomed in every possible way...
but...
I'm a son of capitalism and of "what's mine is mine, what's yours is yours,i can share stuff but i want my stuff to be up and available asap, thx"...
long story short, in my 50sq room (yeah that's my room by itself, the house is around 150-160sq) i bringed my wii, ps3, lcd, 5.1 stereo, 2 arcade sticks, 2 notebook, etc etc..
well i'm hardly at home, and by hardly i mean that unless some shit happens
mon --> fri : wake up, running, shower, office, house, (it's around 18:30) gym till 22 or so including shower.. I'm finally back home at 22:30, i play a bit and that's it.. usually pc..
sat --> sun : wake up (10), gym (till 13+30 mins for sauna + shower), house.. washing machine, sort out some stuff, call family and play a bit
of course this doesn't even include my 2 nights for week when i'm surely out of house till say 3am in the morning..
so my time for playing is... small..
well tonight i'm at home and...one of these guys asked me to play "a bit" with LA noire on my ps3.. since i'm "mr. nice guy and all" i said "sure no probs".. that was 17:00...
i did stuff with the working machine, watched some video, watched a film... and he's still there at 22:08...
and i feel bad for asking him to quit using my ps3, but i'd love to have a chance to play myself..... since he's playing my ps3 on my lcd, in my separate room.... and i'm sitting on my second bed and watching and waiting...
now he's finally turned the ps3... but he started zapping on my satellite tv (paying for it on my own) in my frigging room..
I don't want to sound like an asshole, but i really can't find any "decent" way of asking him to buzz off a bit.. christ i'd like to use my stuff.. a bit... at least :X
 
You should just tell him straight up that it peeves you a little that you're not the main user of your own electronics, that you're okay with sharing but to a certain extent.

Also to be fair, it's pretty easy to spend 5 hours playing LA Noire without realizing it.
 
I think this is thread worthy but whatever. Opinion based question. What's the worst band/group/singer/rapper you ever heard? I don't think can pinpoint one person or group but I heard a group on the radio that I totally forgot about. The violent femmes.
 
Fitness related question:

Let's say you run a route from point A to point B, then from B to A, essentially running the same route twice. Now let's say point B is at a significantly higher elevation than point A, so from A to B you are going uphill, while from B to A you're going downhill.

The question being: is the increased effort from running uphill canceled out by the decreased effort from running downhill, and as such are you burning the same calories as if A to B/B to A was a perfectly flat route?

Only in theory. In practice, you still have to push the same amount of air to the side, for instance. Your muscles still have to do the extra work of micro spazzing to keep your limbs in place. The earth you're walking on is changing its place all the time. Photons bouncing off your body hold you back a little. A butterfly in South America makes the pebble you're resting your feet on shift a little extra. So you have a slightly different absolute effort for both AB and BA. It never cancels out that trivially.

Windows? Even if you totally removed English, normal Arabic keyboards should produce Latin characters without having any other language installed.

I dunno what that air molecule stuff was, but from a fitness perspective, running uphill is great cardio and pretty easy on joints. Running downhill won't do nearly as much for your cardio and is really hard on your joints. It is true that it will work your muscles to stabilize you, but i don't think it's worth the stress on joints. I would walk down.

NeoGAF is a very large forum and there is always a risk that your post might be glossed over when a thread is moving fast. If you post something interesting or thought provoking people will usually respond though.

The sound of mine Samsung television (Samsung LE32D550) sometimes sounds weird (Noisy/Rumble, I do now know how to explain, certain sound pitches) when my sound is hard. At both games and movies (Splinter Cell Conviction had it a lot as example).

I did not have this problem before, does anyone know why I am having this...? Or what's the cause.
 
If those cooking utensils you see on late night tv or shopping channels are so good, why aren't they sold in regular grocery stores, or at least in department stores? Why do you have to call some number to buy the product?

Because they are elitists. If some regular walmart trash would get their dirty hands on the products, they wouldn't really be premium products, would they?

Pretty much all stores around here have an "As Seen on TV" section.

They actually do often sell in stores. But also they see value in being able to sell directly to the consumer themselves without any middleman. Plus they get the personal information of their customers so they can choose to hit them up to buy more stuff later.

Well, in your case, people respond to you because they've grown a deep hate towards you over the years; the reason being that you are consistently using the wrong punctuation symbol as an apostrophe (´ instead of '). It appears you really believe the accent acute is a legit apostrophe. It isn't. Great trolling, by the way ♥
 
Well... I had a job interview at Qdoba I thought went well, but no call yet... should I do a follow up call and ask if they filled the position or something? What do I say?
I also filled out an online app for Michaels craft store last night. Should I call them today to ask if they got it?

When was the interview? Wait at least a week. Two weeks at most. Just say something like "I was inquiring to see if the position I was interviewed for on xx/xx had been filled..."
No to the second. Call Thursday or Friday.


Does anyone know if there is a special process to appeal for a username change? I emailed the GAF support address back in spring, received no answer, and PM'd Evilore with no reply a few months ago. It's a security concern that has recently developed (that I brought upon myself), so it's more than vanity.

Has IKEA discontinued the detolf cases? I can't find them on the IKEA site anymore and after doing some research people are saying they can't find them in the stores.
