I have a friend on another forum I'm on ask a question and since I don't know what to say and no one else has responded, I'd figure I'd ask here.

My brother has been playing this on my Xbox One, and he ran into an odd issue. His screen keeps flashing every time he moves for no apparent reason, making seeing impossible and inducing headaches. He didn't really try to read up on it, and just uninstalled the game. Now that he's trying to reinstall it, it's taking a super long time. Like, it's been installing for four hours and it isn't even at 50% yet

Anyone know what I can tell him about this?

No no, I need to play every game mode on every map. All the other Achievements were extremely easy, but this one I have no control over. I am thinking about switching to a Pilot Hunter playlist but that means I would have almost a 1/15 chance as opposed to a 1/7 chance every 3 games. I dunno...

EDIT: Seriously, this matchmaking is horrible. All it has done is put me on teams that are essentially unwinnable. I make 35 Attrition Points, then I hide in the coner and just wait to see what happens 5v5... Match finishes 70 - 300 and I am still MVP? I'm guessing the skilled matchmaking is thinking that putting me with worse people is a good idea.

Been mowing down pilots with the CAR and with MFD, I do not need to have Map Hack to know their location hehe.

There's a bug on it currently, will be fixed in the next update. For now try stopping in place before shooting. Yeah, I know it's not ideal, sorry about that. :/

Did you update to the latest beta driver? Also by any chance do other games suffered from this problem too?

Just started playing this today last time was February. Game seems a lot more stable on XB1 now didn't see any screen tearing or frame drops. I love the new customizable options for loadouts.

no i downloaded the software from nvdia that automatically checks and downloads the latest driver for graphic card. its version 'GEFORCE 337.88 DRIVER'. this problem only happens in titanfall, rest of games work fine

Hmm I'm using 337.88 and all is fine (GTX780).

The latest beta driver is 340.43 which you can download using the GeForce Experience. You need to tick the include beta drivers and check for updates again.

See if that helps to solve the problem.

yep done that before i posted here. no idea wtf is wrong here, also another problem im having with origin, might be related or unrelated i dont know, i bought medal of honour airbourne and after installing it i cant activate it because it wont let me log in. my origin might be messed up or something

After playing MFD for dozen of matches, having some random team mates who absolutely run into the heat of the battle while the marked enemy happily hiding somewhere sure baffles me.

Plus matchmaking can be a hit or miss. Group of high level Gen players vs non Gen low to mid level = you know the answer.

Well I just quit the match if knowing my team mates compromises of low level non Gen players.

I was lucky. I had everything but LTS on Wargames before the patch hit, got it on my second session. But yea, achievements like these are annoying.

I'd assume the ogre would be the same as the last 2 gens. I like to use the chain gun so the instant it goes critical you have that chance. A lot of luck goes into titan executions though. MVP attrition is probably your best bet. I got nothing for the sniper

I feel like matchmaking punishes you now for doing well it so frustrating. I put up a couple big games and it finds me the worst teammates possible. This update has ruined playing solo.

I got all of my MVPs playing CTF. I think I only didn't get MVP once haha, but this was when you could carry the flag in a titan.


Also I agree, I am rarely with decent teammates. The skilled matchmaking is way too strict.

For MVP Attrition is probably fine, though I guess it depends on what type of player you are. If you go Smart Pistol and Stryder w/ Arc Cannon you can probably get enough minions even if you are struggling pilot vs pilot.

For Kraber I think CTF or Hardpoint, just stay off to the side somewhere and watch the most direct routes. Should be enough traffic to generate pilot kills pretty fast. I'd make an effort to unlock the lowest zoomed sight possible as well. I forget the details, but just sniping a few grunts in your first game will do the trick.

Disarmed drove me nuts. Ogre is just so slow. Might be able to do a little better now that there's an extra dash burn card. I will probably do this one on my Xbox One account in LTS. Just because there's so many titans there are situations where there'll be enough confusion to snipe some terminations here and there. Be prepared to be frustrated by nuclear ejectors though.

Easiest for MVP is BY FAR stim + hardpoint. Just run from point to point. I got 30+ MVPs in a row.

Campaign is probably best where you can take advantage of new players who overreach themselves, but LTS and MFD are promising as well.

Edit: Still Gen 8 btw, but figured I'd mention what I've noticed and have had success with thus far. Around 52 wins and 34-ish for Look Out Below! It's been tough with the early/mid-day time slots and the odd behavior of the 'improved' matchmaking, but glad that I'm over the hill for the All I Do is Win challenge and looking forward to Gen 9.

You could combine Kraber and Disarmed together in Last Titan Standing. Pilots are easier to find in that game mode once they are out of their titans. Easy picking.

Yeah, I'm on X1. GT is the same as GAF name.

Things have been fairly slow for me due to the timeslot (0900-1400 EDT), but the wins are a bit more consistent than when I started this gen. Also been working on the LOB challenge since lvl 4, and the amount of BS that the A.I. pulls is ridiculous with their invincibility rolls and knowing when the Titan will drop (Spectres and Titans understandable, grunts not so much). The only consistent tactics I've had have been to board Titans and drop directly on them when I leap off, or to stand in front of some A.I. and hope that the server agrees with where I want to drop my Titan.

MVP is only a bit difficult for me on CTF and MFD, mostly as being a flag escort Titan or often being too far from marks.

Edit: Little siblings are heading back to their mother's at the end of the week, and the wife will be working late nights. Hopefully that will open up my schedule a bit and finally get that fast food song (which I learned to my displeasure is Music Class material) and Disney Channel trash out of my head.

Girl Meets World however is surprisingly decent and may be my new guilty pleasure show, despite never having watched Boy Meets World. Also pleasantly surprised at the quality of Phineas and Ferb.

Stability and either acog (which i think is 2.4) or the 4.5 is okay depending on how far out you want to play. Hard thing with it is that you can't miss if you get in a firefight or you are dead since the rate of fire is so slow. Nice thing is it is a lot less needed than the smart pistol or hemlock kills needed so it actually goes quicker than you think it would. There will be times when it looks like you hit but it was a miss. Sniper with travel time is rough in a game where most are constantly running, so just be ready to be frustrated sometimes (though when you get that one cool shot off it is pretty satisfying)

MVP and ogre executions is what I have left, but only single digits for both. I had gotten the same advice about going into hardpoint for MVP and that is definitely the way to go. Executions are really hit in miss. LTS seems the way to go, but it really depends on the team matchup.

That is the one I'm also assuming I will never get unless something like that happens for me. I think the closest I've come is taking out three of them.

I don't get why there are so many quitters given that the game now counts leaving the match as a loss. A lot of my losses the past few days have been due to people leaving in the middle of the match.

Edit: May have to dig around the original OT, but isn't there some little junket happening sometime this next month? It's clear that we'll be seeing some more modes in addition to Wingman LTS soon, but it feels like it's almost time for some map teasing. Here's to snow maps and more creative wall running opportunities. Also some new features involving the horribly underutilized data knife, please and thank you.

Would ask for more water-based maps, but water seems to be an increasingly problematic issue with the game.

I guess you're in luck as in Marked for Death, I noticed lots of player actually ejecting out from their Titan (with the auto eject perk).

Chaingun with accelerator is the most effective for me in taking out ejecting pilot. Even though they are cloaked, you can easily spot them from their jet exhaust if they attempt to double jump during their descent.

Just keep firing the chaingun and follow their trajectory falling path for instant gooser.
