The Jump rankings leaked out and confirmed that Bleach is ending in the next issue, which will be in two weeks. Along with a "big announcement".

Wow, so what could a "big announcement" for a manga that's on its final chapter be? I could only see it being an anime, a sequel/spinoff, or some type of big Kubo post-Bleach Project.

I'm okay with any of those. Let the inkspills, asspulls, style-over-substance, and blank pages continue.

What are the odds we'll get a Netflix adaptation, preferably with a writer who isn't a complete hack?

Between the Death Note movie and SAO, I don't think it's impossible. Wasn't WB planning a Bleach movie at one point?

This reminds me, when I was younger, my dream was always to see Ichigo as a captain and Rukia as his vice captain. Guess at least one of them got the captain position.

Lol, how can they pretend like a 10 year timeskip is any significant time when you're dealing with the Soul Society? That's like a drop in the ocean to most of those people. Now if it was a 40 year timeskip, that would be cool. In 10 years the Soul Society should basically be the same but Ichigo's life would be super different.

During the ceremony where they are inducting Rukia as a captain, suddenly they feel a powerful reiatsu that feels like Yhwach's, then END CHAPTER.

Kubo trollin' till the last page.

He did beat Luchador Quincy on his own. Kensei and Rose were there but Kensei was curbstomped and Rose was a fucking moron and explained how his power worked and got wrecked. Seriously, if you want a major facepalm moment in Bleach, look up Rose introducing his Bankai in... *checks wiki* CHAPTER 561? HOW?! WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED THIS ARC?!

Oh yeah, forgot that...

Man, Kubo really ruined the vizards. First Shinji explaining his shikai to Aizen, then Rose explaining his bankai to the Quincy. Which is a shame, since his bankai was good. Talk about being stupid.

I really don't know why characters gotta explain thier powers to the person they're facing. Couldn't Kubo think of another way to inform the audience on how someone's powers operate?

I heard his other work Zombie Powder was good too but unfinished. Hopefully whatever he works on next will be something well thought out and not dragged on forever. Like if he had stopped after the Soul Society arc on Bleach and then started something new.

Great, nothing about Aizen -.- I swear, if he really died in Ch. 684, I'll regret every minute I spent reading the manga/ watching the anime. Nobody cares about Ichigo, I just want Ai-chan to become the Soul King, getting what he always wanted ;_;

I can only imagine either Aizen got made in to the soul king, or ichigo did. It'll be weird either way.

Mhmm. This is exactly what I think Kubo's going with.
And based on the ten year timeskip, I'm leaning on the new SK being Aizen. Next chapter will probably focus on the human characters, so I have a feeling Kubo might reveal that Ichigo hooked up with Orihime at some point over the course of the decade and the two have since procreated at least once or twice.

I am already preparing myself when they show that Aizen is the new Captain Commander while the epilogue ends with a sequel hook for a new series where the protagonist will be Ichigo and Orihime son.

I think logically Kyoraku should still be the Captain Commander, unless he forfeit. The next in line would probably be Byakuya in my head.

But eh, Kubo and Logic. ah!
