I knew it. Even with the drop in sales Bleach still sold way too much volumes for them to shelve the series. They should try DBZ Kaing it in manga form.

I'm thinking anime for this last arc. Yeah, it was terrible... but people would still maybe watch Bleach?
Wasn't that part of his whole power-up where he turned human? Sacrifice his heart, get humanized for a short time, then burn out and die?
I never thought dying factored into it. I just figured he lost all human qualities and turned into a normal wolf after it.

I've been so out of Bleach ever since Unohana was such a let down. I found it became too rushed and silly for my liking but.... wow it is ending... finally. I know Rukia has

This thread made me really interested in Bleach so after reading some lore on the wiki I decided to buy and read the first volume. I'm not really seeing what made people like this so much in the first place. The dialogue is really bad and too dependent on unfunny, screaming anime heads. And the fights are just Ichigo swinging his sword around randomly and destroying everything (when did he learn how to fight anyway?). The ghost stuff is boring. Naruto, Toriko, and Dragonball had much better starts that hooked me immediately.

It's one of those things where you just kinda had to be there when it was new and mysterious. Ichigo was cool back then because he was fucked up and violent and strangely proficient at the whole "shinigami" thing. There was mystery and plot potential and the scooby doo/ghostbusters with Kubo's stylistic overtones too it was all super cool back when it was new and weird.
Then it basically just turned into some weird amalgam of Naruto (because everybody who means anything comes from the best bloodlines) and DBZ (because power creep from jump). It's less interesting going back or looking at it now that it's a completed package.
But it was awesome when it was simple.

Took Aizen 10 years, but the future soul king is finally back and he will then be the one to finally get what he always wanted. He will be the man at the very top, keeping everything together and he will be the one who will have complete control, something he has always wanted.
Last chapter, bachmanity showed him in goo and eyes, itchigo tore it apart and they rebuilt on top of him and back, Aizen has finally pieced himself back together. Only way the series can end. Aizen on top, itchigo happy and married and his kid can see spirits.

So what exactly did happen to Yachiru Kusajishi I don't remember. Hell did she ever show off her shikai?
She was Kenpachi Zanpakutou.
She had her own Shikai and used it. She also disappeared around the same time that Kenpachi's sword first talks to him. Maximum Kubo

But she was a real person who interacted with squad members on many occasions some times without Kenpachi being present before she was Kubo'ed into Kenpachi's Zanpakutou.
Okay, had to make sure I didn't miss her like being killed or something lol. I just remember her being there one day then being gone and thinking I missed a chapter (or forgot)

Just do a 10 year time skip. That will make people forget some of the loose ends I didn't tie up, not to mention question some new questionable Gotei 13 choices.
What an insane disconnect from the last page of 684 and the first page of 685. If I didn't know they were one after another, I thought I'd have missed at a bunch of chapters in between.
Absolutely ridiculous, but coming from Kubo, I'm not surprised either.
EDIT: I expected less than nothing and I'm still disappointed somehow.

After the way the last chapter ended I can't fucking believe that we just jump in a 10 year time skip immediately after, it honestly feels like I just missed a few chapters or something, and ya I don't understand some of these new captain choices as all, but at this point I could care less. Also lol at no Ichigo in the second to last chapter of the fucking series, he'll definitely be in the last one but I mean come on. It's funny to think that for the most part Ichigo wasn't really present in the final arc. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there like a whole year that went by with Ichigo not appearing in a single chapter?
This is twice now I've got a complete garbage ending from a series I've been following for a huge portion of my life. First with Metal Gear, now this. Fuck this shit, I'm not committing to lengthy series anymore, it's obvious authors get too tired of their own shit and give up. Hell George RR Martin will probably get so sick of ASOIAF he'll just pass out and never wake up before he can finish.
