An entire series later and
Aizen is still fucking alive?!

Not just alive,
He's immortal. And he was given a sentence with a finite number of years. So, sure, minor setback with the whole Ichigo thing but once he's out he can do whatever he wants and Ichigo and co will be long dead.
What I'm saying is that Aizen is the true winner.

Now that's some bull. I didn't even like Rukia and Ichigo but they were built up from the beginning. Orihime liking Ichigo was only that and it never felt mutual. Ori had better chemistry with Ishida.

I agree about Naruto and Hinata though. They made sense and were the best couple to come from it all.

Rukia and Ichigo was always a mutual thing. Rukia always kept it professional, and Ichigo never showed interest in her romantically. Yeah, he wanted to save her, but more because she was his senpai and because she was his friend.

Orihime meanwhile, Ichigo never wanted her to fight, and was more tender towards her compared to Rukia.

Joins Hitman Reborn! as another shit ending (Reborn might be worse due to nothing fucking progressing for the protag though)

We need to have a list of shounen manga of this type that actually ended well.

The only ones off the top of my head that I can think of are:

-Yu Yu Hakusho
-Flame of Recca
-Psyren
-Kongou Banchou

I heard Rurouni Kenshin also ends well but I never read the full thing...

Seriously, nobody mentioned Dragon Ball? Perfect closure.

Rurouni Kenshin ending is legit good. The best kind of passing the torch ending.

Medaka Box actually has great ending too

FMA ending is overrated. Roy'blindess lasted like one chapter and was magically fixed, he didn't even become Fuhrer but shit characters like Ling reached their goal, Edward and Winry are a boring couple, etc. It's good but not great.

As for Bleach, meh... At least Naruto had a dream and reached it. Ichigo is such a boring protagonist. At least it wasn't Ichiruki :p

FMA's ending is god tier. Shit progressed off screen, we didn't have to see Roy's blindness cured. Years passed, shit happened.

Also, WOOOOOOOOOOO TWO FOR TWO BABY

First NauHina now IchiHime. Both my childhood pairings win!

The ending:

I don't care about the ships at all but getting absolutely no explanation what the Soul King was is the worst. Years of foreshadowing, years of build up, and all he ever amounted to was a thing in a crystal with limbs roaming the countryside for no reason. Instead of spending the remaining moments to give some explanation, we instead get a look at the two most unsatisfying ships imaginable. Not unsatisfying because of the pairings either really, but unsatisfying in that the pairs involved barely had any interaction in the past five years of this rag.

Hopefully his next move is to do the art for someone that can actually plan and write a story.

It was never gonna be good, but holy shit Kubo.

This series should have ended years ago. And I guess even if it had ended years ago he would have needed to hire a ghost writer to do it so he didn't have this garbage rando pairings with no buildup or Harry Potter-tier kids.

Build your shit up on both sides, manga writers. One person semi-stalking the other person or being a plant-eating beta and never actually saying how they feel does not constitute "development" and shouldn't be rewarded with the other guy randomly deciding one day "oh yeah I should marry that person". Have some scenes where the other person actually shows some interest, and not just one sorta kinda scene that can be vague or handwaved away.

And why the hell do we never see Aizen's Bankai?

Are there even that many shippers that still give a damn about Bleach? I figured most had jumped ship long ago.

Given how terrible it became I'd assume only the most diehard shippers stayed on with the trainwreck. Therefore, the ones that will be the most pissed and ready to kill Kubo in his sleep.

There as some but not a lot anymore, Bleach shipping fandom crashed some time ago. Basically it this:

Shonen mangas continue to disappoint me terribly. I wish I could read one that was actually good to cleanse my pallet but I have likely read the remotely good ones. Back to seinen I suppose.

Bleach's hasn't been good for a decade, dunno what you expected

Didn't we though? I see no proof otherwise:

Believe in the Aizen's bankai all-according-to-keikaku ending

The only way this ending will be good is if the live action movie happens, at the end of the film a director yells "Cut!", the actors all shuffle off-stage and the cameraman pans around the the director's chair to reveal Aizen saying, "since when did you think I wasn't a real person and made all this up?"

I stopped watching midway through the Arrancar arc because it felt like a rehash of the soul society arc except I was less invested in everything. Its not that I really give a damn about Bleach anymore, but I do care about the characters and their relationships.

Fucking Rukia and Ichigo don't even interact in the final chapter

they don't end up together

and the name of the chapter is Death and Strawberry.

Soooooooooooooooooooo Aizen is still in prison? Huh

The ships are awful, but oh well, it's Kubo, he's the worst hack ever.

Good riddance

Oh! At the ending being garbage as expected...

It was cute, I guess, but after years and years of build up... eh.

And come on people, you all knew that Ichigo x Orihime was going to be a thing since the very first chapters of the manga.

Normally one would think that Ichigo would have to, you know, actually seem attracted to Orihime for it to be a thing but I guess not in Kubo Land!

He seriously seemed like he was more into his boss than Orihime.

I've been lurking in this thread for the last few months as I awaited the end, but I figure I should post now so that we can face this together. We're almost free guys... Almost free from Kubo's garbage.

Renji finally managed to pull a W out of his ass at the end. I can't believe it.

Aizen is still alive and that's all that matters.

Eh. If you are going that early then wouldn't people have guessed that other normal girl instead? Think she did some sort of martial art and never got any powers. Whatever happened to her?

Man I still can't believe how hard Kubo fucks up this, even the most simple thing

Can he just made the earth guy and soul society dude staring to same side, for some cliche imagery as ending

that sound miles better than this hot garbo spoiler

Only if Aizen is played by Kubo.
