Tite Kubo's Bleach Manga Nears Ending

Not sure why people cared about shipping when the characters barely had any romantic chemistry with one another. I'm surprised ichigo and renji can show any emotion besides angst.

I can kinda dig
IchiHime
, but that's only because I dropped out after the Soul Society arc. Back then, the pairing was kinda cute.

It's fun how Ichigo used Orihime like a pokemon and they the get together at the end. It somewhat feels... wrong (imagine Ash doing nasty stuff to Pikachu, yikes). But Sasuke was worse if you think about it, they get married, they pork, and then he abandons her. Still not close to the asshole husbando king (Goku), but shit human being tier nonetheless.

Now wait for the sequel Ichiwathever his name is, Kubo isn't done with the bullshit, believe me.

There was no mention to Ichigo's dad, right? What happened to him? He got together with Ishida's dad or what?

Ishida hated his dad so much that he became a doctor himself too lol, Tite never fails to deliver

I don't know about that, didn't he try to fight with her in vanilla DB? I forgot. Anyway the "I just made you a baby, now I commit suicide, I have the chance to stick around but I prefer not to yolo" shit he pulled during the Cell ark is unrivaled imo.

at least Toriyama said Goku was never meant to be a good person

Did he? That explains some stuff. Vegeta was the good guy all along I knew it

Best thing about the chad part is he probably cheated to get there.

Using his fullbringer/Hollow/whatever powers to climb the ranks.

Yeah, Bleach got the chop. It's a shame Kubo jumped the shark to the point where the editors had to put it out of its misery, but he only had himself to blame.

Orihime was only truly insufferable (well, comparatively speaking) during the Hueco Mundo slog, when her entire vocabulary was reduced to "Kurosaki-kun" and she did all of nothing for years despite her powers being hyped up to god status.

So, we're debating between the chronic deadbeat and the repeatedly-attempted-wife-murderer over the "worse dad" award?

We still don't know if Ichigo is a shit dad so yeah. I'm thinking Ichigo would be better than those two in any case

As someone who dropped the series after the Hueco Mundo saga, can anyone make a quick summary of events to the end?

Yeah, Toriyama explained that Goku isn't a hero or a guy who does stuff out of goodness. Goku just wants to fight, and fight a lot.

He does good things in the process, but that's not Goku's goal.

People seem to have some nostalgia glasses for FMA's ending. It was still very textbook and predictable, but it was a satisfying end to a fantastic series.

Don't see why some are comparing this to the Naruto ending. Kishi had goals for the main cast and a theme to portray and he did all of that in the end. Bleach's ending seems to be more bare: Aizen's fate, final boss riatsu disappearing, lol pairings, bankai missing, who/what is the Soul King lol

Sasuke doesn't abandon Sakura and Sarada. He goes on a mission to protect them and the world from future threats to which they both agreed to.

Wasn't Goku always portrayed as being ridiculously dense?

- Ichigo gets new powers out of his ass, new characters with new powers are introduced

- A MILF is introduced too, that was the highlight of the whole thing

- Kubo acts as if nothing happened and Ichigo regains his old powers (more or less)

- You learn that, as everyone predicted, Ichigo's mom was a Quincy and Ichigo's dad is a fallen Shinigami that gave up his powers to save her (that was actually cool but badly explained)

- We learn that the new bad guy is the Quincy king, a guy with a strange power: he was born completely empty, that is, without senses or nothing, just a shell of a man. But he had a cool power: if a Quincy touched him his soul was "healed" regaining whatever they had lost and gaining power in the process. The catch was that this was because the bad guy could share pieces of his soul with other people, and at the moment of their death (anyone who touched him died few years later), these fragments returned to him engraved with those other people's abilities. That made him basically as broken as Jesus. And he was sleeping for 1000 years because reasons.

- Then it all goes to shit when his minions invade SS

- Some shinigami die

- Some not

- Some die and come back as zombies

- Then they are not zombies

- Komamura becomes a man and dies

- Random bad guys

- Kenpachi something Yachiru bankai something

- Ichigo running

- The soul king is a rock or something. He dies. Then the bad guy becomes a blanket of eyes who can see all?

- Ukitake was the soul king's arm?

- AIZEN RETURNS IN A CHAIR THIS IS GLORIOUS

- Ichigo running

- Jobbers all around

- We see a lot of bankais, most of them useless (Shunsui's and Urahara's were rad though)

- Ishida is a traitor! Of course not you fucking idiot

- A dashing blond guy is the bad guy's right hand man and he's not so bad

- Ichigo and Aizen team up to kill the bad guy who I still don't know to this day what he was planning (destroying everything and creating again? dunno)

- He has A LOT of eyes

- They trick him and kill him but he has MORE eyes (seriously) and comes back

- Ishida comes and saves the fucking day of fucking course

- Ichigo cuts in half the bad guy and Aizen smiles

- And now the epilogue which is more shit

He's been absent all of Sarada's life, enough for her to believe he's not her dad. If that's not being a shitty dad... come on, you can go home once in a while, there were not so many threats to the world. These bad guys from Boruto were super lame (said by Naruto himself).

I think Sasuke was whoring somewhere. It must be hard living with Sakura poor guy

Tbf he was traveling through different dimensions.

No, he left when she was young. Not really considering his reason was to protect the world. They enjoyed years of peace, Sasuke returned and the invasion happens. Yeah, I'm sure thats why Naruto nearly died from them lol
I think you don't know Sasuke's character.

When you put it this way:

Sasuke doesn't abandon Sakura and Sarada. He goes on a mission to protect them and the world from future threats to which they both agreed to.

It does sound like he woke up one day, went "I made a huge mistake", then just went travelling "to rid the world of all evils", lol.

Sometimes, being predictable and textbook is the correct thing to do.

Like if Naruto ended on Sasuke being saved and brought back as a kid, it'd still be called a great story today.

People shocked about Rukia n Renji obviously didn't read the Renji flashback chapters in SS days probably it spells it out clear as day. Rukia pretty much wants Renji to tell her stay with him instead being adopted but he didn't and she is crushed over it.

Heck the chapter before Aizen "fights" Bach Renji tells Ichigo thank you for he n Rukia are close again.
Doubt Kubo could make it more obvious

Of course it was, Rukia basically stopped directly interacting with Ichigo after a certain point in the end, and it's not like Kubo is subtle with these things. It's more a case that people just plain don't like t rather it not being easy to see coming.

I think most of the substance behind IchiRuki is the fact that Ichigo and Rukia's dynamic in the first few arcs was far and away the most compelling character relationship in the series, which is admittedly not a very high bar in a series where no one has had an actual personality in almost a decade

There's probably a reason why they had less interaction the more the show went on...

This is probably the worst "serious" manga, heck written product in general, i have ever read.

Like, they should call it Manga Mistakes 101.

Thjat would of been horrible. Sasuke defecting was what made the ending of Part 1 so impactful and I'm glad Kishi didn't gloss over Sasuke's thirst for revenge.

It don't know man Fairy Tails at least in the running. It runs on it's own internal logic of awfulness and probably makes less sense than even bleach does.
