I think he was ichigos real sword spirit, zangetsu was bach being a douche.
Mind that Naruto was still popular when it ended and Kishimoto was/is probably seen a lot more positively by the people in charge.
Even if it were in one of their other mags, I imagine the only way Jump lets Bleach continue is if Kubo is placed in an advisory role and somebody else draws/writes it.

Honestly, I kinda felt the same way but the chapter tried to do too much (particularly the Yhwach/Aizen garbage) and came out as a pointless, jumbled mess.
Reborn probably has the worse ending but this is more disappointing considering the series' former quality and all the unanswered questions/dropped plotlines.
It should be inverse: somebody else writes the story and Kubo draws the panels.

I'm a Shinigami too, lol.
Kazui said "Kind of a shinigami too" and his uniform molded over him. From how it looks I would say he's more Fullbringer than Shinigami (and Orihime was attacked by Sora/Acidwire so it counts).

I honestly have no idea what a Fullbringer is. I stopped reading regularly halfway through Hueco Mundo and have basically dabbled in every few months since, but just picked up a little more regularly in the last few weeks to see how it all ended.

Well, Byakuya was a proper child to someone, as were some others in his family. Perhaps it can be handwaved as they age faster to ~upper teenager ish age then it slows down?
Nothing about Soul Society was ever really explained, which is probably one of the biggest failings in the manga.
The entire place is such a clusterfuck of a concept.
I guess Kubo finally realized that after all these years he never specified what the hell Yhwach was trying to accomplish.

The Fullbringer Arc was the next arc after Aizen was defeated and dealt with Ichigo dealing with someone who said that they could restore his Shinigami powers and brought Fullbringers into the story. The short version is a Fullbringer can manafest a power through an object (there is more to this but I'm having a brain fart atm) in their real bodies however the caveat is that in order to have this power their mother had to have been harmed but survived a hollow attack before they were born.

Yeah, this needed another chapter or two to flesh this out better. Bleach's end feels like you're going on a trip and you're driving only to run out of road beneath your wheels rather than reaching your destination.
